Profession.hu Scraper: Hungary Jobs, Salaries and Employers

Extract job listings from Profession.hu (profession.hu), Hungary's largest generalist job board with over 17,000 active listings and 6 million monthly visitors. Covers all job types, regions, and sectors across Hungary.

No login required. No captcha. HTTP-only, no browser under the hood.

What it does

Pulls live job listings from Profession.hu with server-side keyword filtering. Supply one or more keywords via searchQueries and the actor calls Profession.hu's path-encoded filter URL (/allasok/{page},0,0,{keyword}@1@1?keywordsearch) — the same URL your browser uses when you search. Each keyword runs as a separate task; results are tagged with search_query for downstream segregation.

Results include Hungarian-specific fields: county (megye), employment type in Hungarian (Teljes munkaidő / Részmunkaidő / Alkalmi / Diákmunka), experience level (Kezdő / Junior / Medior / Senior / Vezető), remote type (home office / hibrid / irodai), education level (Alapfokú / Középfokú / Felsőfokú), job category (Profession.hu taxonomy), employer benefits (Cafeteria, Mobiltelefon, SZEP kártya, etc.), listing expiry date, HUF salary from JSON-LD baseSalary where disclosed, and skills/requirements text. Full job description is available in HTML, plain text, and Markdown.

By default (sortBy="newest"), results are sorted newest-first via the Profession.hu RSS feed when no keyword is given. With a keyword, results use the site's SERP ordering. Switch to sortBy="relevance" to force SERP ordering for full-feed mode.

Use searchUrls to scrape a specific Profession.hu URL (such as a category page), or startUrls for direct job page URLs. Without any input, the actor fetches the full job feed.

Available inputs:
