Why This Scraper?

• Postal-code radius search up to 200 km — center a search on any Danish postal code (e.g. 2100 Copenhagen, 8000 Aarhus) and pull cars within 10, 25, 50, 100, 150, or 200 km.
• Seven sort orders — relevance, price low-to-high or high-to-low, first-registration year newest or oldest, mileage low-to-high, or recently listed, so you can grab the freshest or cheapest cars first.

Tips for Best Results

• Start small — set maxResults to 30–50 on your first run to confirm the data matches your needs, then scale up.
• Buying for yourself? Pick "private-buyer listings only" — the default cash-price view includes trade-only cars that only a CVR-registered business can buy and cars priced without registration tax, which look like bargains but are not comparable prices.
• URLs override the search fields — if you paste a Bilbasen URL into startUrls, the make, model, and filter fields are ignored. Use one approach or the other, not both.
• Scope to a region with postal code + radius — set zipCode plus radiusKm to pull only cars near a city; the radius is ignored unless a postal code is set.
• Leave the finance add-on off for speed — includeFinancing adds a per-car lookup, so keep it off unless you actually need the monthlyPrice field.
• Sort by Recently listed for fresh stock — set sortBy to "Recently listed" to surface the newest listings first, ideal for daily monitoring runs.
• Sort by Recently listed for a complete export — Bilbasen's default Relevance order can shift slightly while a run pages through the results, so a few cars may slip past; the final status tells you how many. "Recently listed" order doesn't reshuffle, so it gives the most complete export.
• Search vans on their own — the Van body type uses Bilbasen's separate van category, so run it as its own job rather than mixing it with passenger-car body types.
• Make and model spelling is forgiving, and you only get the model you asked for — Volkswagen or VW, Citroen or Citroën, Mercedes-Benz or Mercedes all work, and a small typo like "Volkswagon" or "Modell 3" is read as VW or Model 3 (named in the run log). "Model 3" returns only Model 3 cars, never a Model Y. A make or model Bilbasen doesn't list stops the run before any results are charged and suggests the closest ones.
• Pick a whole model family or one generation — "Golf" covers all 12 Golf models (Golf VII, Golf VIII, e-Golf and the rest), exactly like Bilbasen's own Golf filter, while "Golf 7" or "Golf VII" narrows to that generation. The same works for series such as BMW "3 Series" or Mercedes "C-Klasse". Leave Make empty and the make is found from the model when only one make has it (Octavia is read as Skoda Octavia).

Pricing

From $1.50 per 1,000 results — flat pay-per-result pricing that undercuts the per-run-fee model most car-listing scrapers use. Bronze, Silver, and Gold subscribers pay progressively less; the table below shows the total cost at each discount tier.
