I build Apify Actors that watch data so you don't have to — tracking changes in public data sources that are valuable but painful to monitor by hand, and turning them into clean, structured change feeds you can consume as an API.
Utility Rebate Change Tracker Monitors US state & utility energy incentive programs (DSIRE data) and reports every material change as a structured record:
- 💰 Rebate amounts increased or decreased ("$1,500 → $2,000")
- 🛠️ Eligible equipment added or removed from a program
- 🆕 New programs opened, expired programs removed
- 📅 Effective/end date changes
Useful for HVAC & solar installers, energy consultants, marketplaces and anyone whose pricing or marketing depends on incentive programs. Schedule it daily and get a change feed instead of re-reading program pages.
- Change detection over raw dumps — my actors keep snapshots between runs and output only what actually changed, so your pipeline stays quiet until it matters.
- Fail-safe by design — a failed fetch never corrupts the snapshot or produces phantom "removed" records.
- Documented and supported — every actor ships with real input/output examples.
Need a custom tracker or a private version of an existing actor? Reach me via LinkedIn or open an issue on the actor page.
