I'm Jonas, an engineer from Germany building surefetch — data tools with one obsession: runs that succeed.

Too many tools fail more often than they should: expiring OAuth tokens, browser timeouts, cryptic errors. I build the boring way instead:

⚙️ HTTP-first architecture — no headless browsers where none are needed (256 MB instead of 4 GB)
🔁 Automatic retries with exponential backoff on every external call
🧾 Clear, fix-it-yourself error messages instead of stack traces
💤 Fail-soft design — one bad item never kills your run, and failed items are never charged
