📇 About recruiter contacts — read this

Recruiter email & phone are not in Naukri's API — they are extracted from the text the recruiter voluntarily wrote in the public job post to be contacted. So coverage depends entirely on the search:

• salary: "Not disclosed" means the employer didn't publish a salary on Naukri.
• In fetchDetails: true, salary is also mined from the description (e.g. Salary: 18K to 25K).
• Contact fields appear only when a recruiter posted them in the listing — see the fill-rate table above.
• AmbitionBox and some company fields appear only when Naukri includes them.
• Empty internal fields are stripped before saving, so the dataset stays clean.
• If Naukri returns a temporary protected response before any job is collected, the run finishes cleanly with an Errors row instead of failing.

❓ FAQ

Do I need a Naukri account or API key? No. The actor collects public job data only.

Why are contacts missing on many jobs? Because recruiters only add email/phone to the listing for some roles (mostly HR, staffing, sales, field). Corporate/senior roles usually route through Naukri only. See the fill-rate table.

Which mode gives the most contacts? Keyword + city with fetchDetails: true on recruiter/sales-type searches.

Why is the minimum maxJobs 50? Naukri returns jobs in paginated batches of 20. You can still export only the rows you need.

Is this legal? The actor surfaces only publicly posted listing data. You are responsible for complying with GDPR, India's DPDP Act, local laws, and Naukri's terms when using contact data.
