Honest caveat: DataForSEO Rank ≠ Ahrefs Domain Rating, and traffic is a search-based estimate (not Similarweb total visits). Buyers who need "real DR" may still prefer scrapers; everyone else gets stable licensed bulk data.

Field names and types stay stable within version 1.x: we add fields but don't rename or remove them. Anything that changes a field will be announced in this README first. Optional fields can be null or absent depending on the options you set, so read them with a default.

Domains with no data (found: false) are listed but free. Paid Apify plans pay less per domain (down to $0.004).

Pipeline tips

• metrics: ["traffic"] is the cheapest and fastest call; add authority, backlinks or spamScore only when you need them. metrics_available on each row says which groups were filled.
• domain_rank is DataForSEO Rank (0-1000 by default, or 0-100 with "rankScale": "one_hundred"), not Ahrefs DR or Moz DA. Store the scale with the value.
• Bulk mode takes thousands of domains in one run; send them in one request rather than one run per domain.

FAQ

Is this scraping Ahrefs / Semrush / Similarweb?
No. It uses DataForSEO's licensed Backlinks and Labs APIs.

Do I need my own data-provider account or API key?
No. Everything is included in the pay-per-event price; you only need an Apify account.

Why don't ranks match Ahrefs DR?
Different indexes and formulas. Use the score relatively across domains in this dataset.
