I'm a backend developer who has spent years around the trucking industry — ELD platforms, dispatch workflows, and the daily reality of brokers vetting carriers by hand. That's the gap my Actors are built for.

Most FMCSA tools return a snapshot: "authority active, insurance active." That answer can be true and still dangerously incomplete — a carrier can have a policy cancellation filed, a suspension notice pending, and a reinstatement all inside one month, and a snapshot shows none of it. My tools are built on a different principle: data → history → changes → signals → action.

Under the hood is a carrier-state database that ingests FMCSA's official Motus open datasets and the QCMobile API every day, stores every change with evidence, and turns raw government status codes into events a business can act on: insurance cancellations before they take effect, authority suspensions and reinstatements, replacement policies, fleet changes.

Everything is sourced exclusively from official FMCSA data (QCMobile API and the DOT open-data portal) — no scraping of private platforms, and nothing here is a consumer report under the FCRA.
