CNBC Video Scraper
Scrapes CNBC video metadata including title, description, duration, publish date, thumbnail, and video URL.
An Apify actor that extracts video metadata from CNBC.
What it does
- Fetches the given CNBC video listing page (default:
https://www.cnbc.com/video/) - Extracts the internal section ID from the page's
__NEXT_DATA__JSON blob - Calls CNBC's internal GraphQL API (Apollo Persisted Queries) to retrieve paginated video metadata — no browser needed, fast and lightweight
- Falls back to scraping individual video HTML pages (JSON-LD / Open Graph) if the GraphQL API is unavailable

Notes
- The GraphQL endpoint uses Apollo Persisted Queries — the query hash is hardcoded from browser DevTools observation. If CNBC rotates the hash, the actor falls back to HTML scraping automatically.
- Respects
maxVideosacross both strategies.
