π§ Deezer Scraper: Tracks, Artists, Albums & Charts
Deezer Scraper exports Deezer music data without an API key: search tracks, artists, albums and playlists, pull global, genre and country Top charts, and look up catalog items by ID, ISRC or UPC. Track rows carry ISRC, and optionally BPM, gain and contributors. Filter by explicit flag and duration, sort, or monitor new rows. Export CSV, Excel, JSON or XML. Pay per row, nothing for empty or failed rows.
RecordsData's Deezer Scraper turns Deezer's public catalog into clean datasets. A test search for "daft punk" reported 181 matching tracks, and artist ID 27 showed 5,215,685 fans and 36 albums on 2026-10-04. It suits music marketers, A&R teams, rights analysts and app developers.
π What does Deezer Scraper do?
- Search Deezer by keyword for tracks, artists, albums or playlists, up to 1,000 results per query.
- Scrape Deezer charts: global Top 100, 24 genre options, and official country charts such as Top Mexico or Top Brazil.
- Look up by ID, ISRC or UPC, including Deezer URLs and EAN barcodes.
- Export an artist's catalog or a playlist.
- Add details (optional): BPM, gain, contributors, countries, UPC, label, genres.
- Filter, sort and monitor: exclude explicit rows, set a duration window, sort tracks, or return only new rows and moved chart positions.
π What data can you extract from Deezer?
59 columns across eight record types: tracks, artists, albums, playlists, and the chart and related versions of them. The main fields:
| Record type | Fields |
|---|---|
Track (track, chart-track, artist-top-track, playlist tracks) | trackId, title, titleShort, titleVersion, artist, album, albumId, artistId, isrc, durationSec, deezerRank, explicit, previewUrl, coverUrl, url, chartPosition, chartCountry, artistRank, playlistPosition, addedAt |
Track details (includeDetails) | bpm, gain, releaseDate, trackPosition, diskNumber, contributors (id, name, role), availableCountryCount, availableCountries |
Artist (artist, chart-artist, related) | artistId, name, fans, albumCount, hasRadio, pictureUrl, url, chartPosition, relatedToArtistId, relatedToArtist |
Album (album, chart-album, artist-album) | albumId, title, artist, artistId, genreId, trackCount, releaseDate, recordKind, explicit, coverUrl, url; with details upc, label, genres, albumFans, durationSec, available |
Playlist (playlist, chart-playlist) | playlistId, title, trackCount, creator, creatorId, isPublic, createdAt, modifiedAt, pictureUrl, url; with details fans, description, durationSec, collaborative |
Every row has recordType and scrapedAt; monitor runs add changeType (new or moved). Fields Deezer does not provide are left out, and bpm is dropped when Deezer sends 0.
π§Ύ Sample output
Row from a track search run on 2026-10-04 (an earlier build without isrc; builds from 0.1.8 add isrc, albumId, artistId, titleShort, titleVersion). previewUrl is shortened:
{"recordType": "track","trackId": "3135563","title": "Veridis Quo","artist": "Daft Punk","album": "Discovery","durationSec": 345,"deezerRank": 928445,"explicit": false,"previewUrl": "https://cdnt-preview.dzcdn.net/...mp3?hdnea=...","url": "https://www.deezer.com/track/3135563","scrapedAt": "2026-10-04T05:10:20.836Z"}
π° How much does it cost to scrape Deezer?
Pay per event: you pay for each result row saved to the dataset. Prices read from the live Store listing on 2026-10-10, from the Free plan to the Gold plan:
| Event | Price per row | Per 1,000 rows |
|---|---|---|
| Track row | $0.012 to $0.01004 | $12.00 to $10.04 |
| Artist row | $0.01 | $10.00 |
| Album row | $0.01 | $10.00 |
| Playlist row | $0.01 | $10.00 |
Tracks inside a playlist are billed as track rows. Filtered-out rows, error rows, empty searches, duplicates and rows skipped by only-new mode are not charged. includeDetails costs no extra. A maximum cost per run stops the actor cleanly.
Worked examples at the Free plan price:
- 1,000 track rows cost 1,000 x $0.012 = $12.00; 1,000 artist rows cost $10.00.
- The Top Mexico country chart is 100 track rows, so $1.20 (about $1.00 on Gold).
- One playlist ID with 50 tracks is $0.01 + 50 x $0.012 = $0.61.
- A first monitor run on artist 27 (profile plus 49 top tracks) is 49 x $0.012 + $0.01 = $0.598. The next run costs $0.00 if nothing changed.
π How to scrape Deezer in 3 steps

- Enter a search query, switch on Deezer charts, or paste IDs, ISRC or UPC codes.
- Set Max Items, click Start, then download CSV, Excel, JSON or XML.
Free users get 10 rows per run.

π¦ Output
Rows go to the default dataset with an Overview table view and a full-data view. A search with no matches ends SUCCEEDED with no charge. An unknown ISRC, UPC or country comes back as one free error row. If Deezer cannot be reached and zero rows are saved, the run is marked FAILED.
includeDetails adds one request per row, so detailed runs take longer. Monitor state lives in a key-value store in your own account.
βοΈ Deezer scraper vs alternatives
Read on 2026-10-09 from the public Apify Store pages. "Not stated" means the listing does not mention it.
| Capability | This Actor | omkar-cloud | abotapi |
|---|---|---|---|
| Playlists and charts | Playlists; global, genre, country charts | Playlists, users, podcasts; country and genre charts | Playlists, users, radios; genre charts |
| ISRC, UPC lookup | ISRC and UPC input | ISRC and UPC input | ISRC fields; UPC not stated |
| Details | BPM, gain, contributors, label, genres | Same, plus biography, credits, copyright | Same, plus lyrics, copyright |
| Filters and monitoring | Explicit, duration, sort; only-new | Strict match, market; monitoring not stated | Explicit, duration, sort; incremental |
| Price per 1,000 | $10.04 to $12.00 | $1.00 | from $1.20 |
hipersoft/deezer-scraper (from $0.50 per 1,000) and logiover/deezer-music-scraper (from $1.50 per 1,000) list search, ISRC or charts but no filters or monitoring; logiover says playlists and radio are not included.
We are not the cheapest: every rival above is far cheaper per row, roughly eight to twenty times. We do not return lyrics, biography, copyright, credits, users, radios or podcasts, and there is no paste-any-URL input. The price buys country charts, ISRC and UPC lookup, filters and only-new monitoring in one actor, with nothing charged for empty rows. If you need lyrics or the lowest price, pick a rival.
π― Use cases
- Chart monitoring: schedule daily chart runs with
onlyNewto catch new entries and moved positions. - Rights and catalog matching: match ISRC and UPC codes from your catalog to Deezer items.
- Playlist research and app building: export playlists or seed metadata with BPM and previews.

π€ Deezer Scraper MCP server for AI agents
AI agents can call this Actor through the Apify MCP server at https://mcp.apify.com?tools=RecordsData/deezer-music-scraper. The URL loads only this Actor as a tool.
Add this to your MCP client (Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code):
{"mcpServers": {"apify": {"url": "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=RecordsData/deezer-music-scraper"}}}
Example agent prompt:
Use the Deezer Scraper to get the Top Mexico chart without explicit tracks between 150 and 300 seconds, and look up the track with ISRC USQX91300105. Tell me which chart track has the highest deezerRank and the BPM of the ISRC track.
Tool description for the agent: "Deezer Scraper. Searches Deezer tracks, artists, albums and playlists; reads global, genre and country charts; looks up items by ID, ISRC or UPC; filters by explicit flag and duration; optionally returns only new rows. Use it for Deezer catalog metadata and 30-second previews without a Deezer API key."
π Is it legal to scrape Deezer?
The actor reads Deezer's public API endpoints at about two requests per second, with no login and no private user data. Preview URLs are Deezer's public 30-second clips; check Deezer's terms before reusing audio or artwork in a product.
β Frequently asked questions
Does Deezer Scraper need an API key or login?
No. Deezer Scraper reads Deezer's public catalog endpoints for tracks, artists, albums, playlists and charts, so you need no Deezer API key, developer app or login. You only need an Apify account, and it collects only the public catalog metadata Deezer itself publishes.
How many Deezer results can I get per search?
Up to 1,000 rows per search query, which is Deezer's own pagination limit. Your maxItems input caps the total rows across search, charts and ID sources in one run, so set it to the volume you want to pay for. The free Apify plan caps a run at 10 rows.
Why did my Deezer Scraper run return 0 results?
The query matched nothing, or a chart or ID list was empty. The run still finishes as SUCCEEDED with the message "No Deezer results matched this input" with no charge. Try a broader keyword; excludeExplicit can also remove every row.
Are the Deezer previews full songs?
No. The previewUrl field holds the 30-second preview MP3 link that Deezer publishes, not the full song. The URL is signed and expires, so download previews soon after the run if you need to keep the audio files for later.
How do I find a Deezer artist ID?
Run Deezer Scraper with searchType set to artist and read the artistId field of each row. You can also take it from a URL such as deezer.com/artist/27, where 27 is the ID. The artistIds input accepts the plain ID or the full artist URL.
What does deezerRank mean in Deezer Scraper output?
The deezerRank field in track rows is Deezer's own internal popularity score. A higher number means a more popular track, and you can sort by it with sortBy. It is separate from chartPosition, which only appears on rows from the Top charts and country charts.
Am I charged for failed or duplicate rows in Deezer Scraper?
No. It never bills error rows, "not found" rows, empty searches, duplicates, rows removed by your filters or rows skipped by only-new mode, and rows are billed only after they are saved. Track rows cost $0.012 each on the Free plan, and artist, album and playlist rows $0.01 each.
What happens if I send an empty or invalid input to Deezer Scraper?
An empty input runs a 10-row demo search for "daft punk", so API and MCP agents always get a valid result. A wrong searchType is rejected with a 400 before the run starts. Other input mistakes give one free error row.
Can I export Deezer data to Excel or CSV?
Yes. After a run you can download the dataset as CSV, Excel, JSON, XML, HTML or RSS from the run page, or fetch it through the Apify API. The Overview table view shows cover, title or name, artist, chart position, rank, fans, release date and link.
How do Deezer country charts work?
Every market has an official "Top
How do I look up Deezer tracks by ISRC or albums by UPC?
Paste ISRC codes into the isrcs input and UPC or EAN barcodes into the upcs input, one per line. Each ISRC returns the matching track and each UPC the matching album. includeDetails adds BPM, contributors, label and genres. Unknown codes return one free error row.
How do I monitor new Deezer releases?
Switch on onlyNew and schedule the actor, for example daily with an artist ID, a search or a chart. The first run delivers every row as changeType new. Later runs skip delivered rows (not charged), and chart rows return as moved when their position changed. Use stateKey for separate monitors.
Why can genre chart albums differ depending on where the run happens?
Deezer serves some genre and global chart data differently by network location. In our tests the same genre albums chart returned 100 rows from the Apify cloud but only 8 from a home connection. Country charts built from the official Top playlists do not show this, so prefer them for a stable count.
Does Deezer Scraper return lyrics, biographies or copyright data?
No. Deezer's public catalog has no lyrics endpoint, and the artist and album payloads do not carry biography, copyright or credits. Users, radios and podcasts are not covered either. It returns metadata: ISRC, UPC, BPM, gain, contributors, label, genres, fans, ranks and preview links.
