Extract job postings from the monthly "Ask HN: Who is hiring?" thread on Hacker News, the place where a large part of the startup and developer world posts roles first. Each comment is parsed into structured fields instead of being dumped as raw text.

What you get per posting

Search filters

• month - which thread to read, e.g. 2026-09. Defaults to the most recent
• maxMonths - walk several months back in one run for trend analysis
• remoteOnly - keep only postings that offer remote work
• filterKeywords - keep only postings mentioning any of these terms, e.g. ["rust", "golang"]

Notes

• Postings are free-form comments written by humans. Parsed fields such as salary, equity and techStack are extracted heuristically and are empty when the poster did not state them. rawText always carries the original.
• Running with maxMonths greater than 1 is the intended way to build a time series; each posting keeps its threadTitle so months stay separable.
• The actor reads the public Hacker News API, so there is no login, no proxy and no rate-limit risk.
