Get a demoWe've gotten the warning WARN From 23 of September 2024 scrolling for comments not available without Facebook login.
Since then I've only been able to get the first 10 comments of posts that have between 10 and ~500 comments, with the warning
WARN Not expecting more than 10 root comments, in order to get more please use sorting and scrape nested replies
The posts with 1000+ comments use the GraphQL method, and work fine, but the ones with a few more than 10 comments are stuck on 10 comments.
Is there a way to enforce using GraphQL? I've tried all the sorting options, and turned on scrape nested replies
An example is trying to scrape https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid02bVYftR2KDYMUKG7y5zejssbcUH8tzGzNv36ts95cMydgEMWzFTXhtNbAYfL9LaXl&id=61550640579177 which has 542 comments, gets this warning and only returns 10 comments +4 replies to comments
Hello, Facebook changed it's API replies.
Facebook killed scrolling for root comments over this weekend. Scrolling for replies still works at least partially, up to 100 replies per comment confirmed.
So currently getting max comments per single run is to use "Most relevant" sorting which will bring root comments as top results and then get all nested comments as well, sample: https://console.apify.com/view/runs/3c7zPRoPlsE2aqPys
Ouch, do you have any new features/workarounds on the roadmap to combat their new changes?
