I'm not getting the same data fields than two week ago.

Hi, there are changes in the data fields information that I get. I made the same search input. The first one (made on Oct 15) returns results of posts based on the search for a hashtag (Octoberfest). The second one (made today) returns information related to a hashtag, but instead of information about posts, it is a hashtag wall and the info related to it.

I need to get information about the posts associated with a hashtag. Has something changed? Or am I doing something differently that prevents me from getting the same result?

I share the run URL from the 15th, and the input and output images of both runs.

Thank you for your help :)

Hi!

Its a bug caused by migration to new IG data endpoints, for right now in order to get search results with hashtags please use resultsType": "details" as in sample run https://console.apify.com/view/runs/vVBepdgTxifeYlChI

Hi Alexey! First of all, thanks for the prompt reply.

  1. Is there currently a way to get the information from the posts that use that hashtag? For example, caption, likes count, commentsCount, input URL, ownerUsername, etc?

  2. Will the extraction of that data (like the one obtained on the 15th) be available again through this actor in the near future?

Thank you for your help, have a nice day!

Hi!

In order to get posts you should provide hashtag URL(s) and specify scraping for "posts", then you will get post details as desired, see sample run https://console.apify.com/view/runs/eK0TRLbEWQ4nep5rc

Actor based on such business logic because if-when you search for hashtags you need to check manually if search results are correct in human terms. Like with your example "octoberfest" - technically "octoberfest2023" is correct match, however you might not want to get results for last year's octoberfest, right?
