I use this actor "apify/instagram-scraper", is there any way to improve its performance for faster execution? I can see there is a option to buy addon resources . Please suggest to what extend the Actor supports additional resource for a faster execution of requests.

For faster processing, please try to use up to 10 URLs per run and increase run memory from 1 GB to 4 GB. CU core(s) for a run based on assigned RAM, so a bigger run with multiple URLs should be faster than many small runs.
