No results with "places".

When trying to scrape the top images from a specified location (or "place" as it called in search type) it comes back with no results. If i leave the "search type" empty it only scrapes hashtags it looks like. I would like to scrape posts based on location only. Is there something i put wrong in the setup?

It only works if i specify a account to scrape. If i leave this empty it comes back with: no items, Empty or private data for provided input.

Issue confirmed, search for places currently never getting any results and that's why the actor saving error with the false assumption that it is private data. For right now please scrape place details by direct URL: https://console.apify.com/view/runs/0MLOLBblFuojqZWnY

Thank you for your response. It shows some results now indeed. However, now i cannot see the URLs of the images individualy. Another issue with this solution is that i need to manually look for the location url first. In my workflow i want that to be an automated process, but because the URL does include some random characters this is not really possible. Correct me if Im wrong.

I dont know if this scraper could give me the results that i need. What i am looking for is a way to automatically scrape the top images of a specified location. This location is randomly selected. Of these images i will then extract the embed code with make.com. Is this possible with this actor?

Hi!

Direct location URL includes location ID so it will not be random as in your description and requirements. New locations might appear on Instagram but it's rare cases. For your purpose, it is better to create or search for a ready-made list of IG location URLs, and then do runs based on randomly selected URLs.
