What you get in each row

Each row contains the alert identifier and reference, product and brand details, risk types, publication and modification dates, the official alert URL, retrieval timestamp, and source label.

With Include alert details on (the default), each row also carries the public alert details: notifying country, notification type, product category, product description, model/type references, barcodes, batch numbers, counterfeit flag, risk description, legal provision, measures taken, company recall links, country of origin, and whether the product was sold online. If one alert's details are temporarily unavailable, that row is still delivered with details_available: false instead of failing the run. Raw upstream payloads are not passed through, and no personal data is added.

Why official Safety Gate data

This Actor uses the European Commission Safety Gate service and keeps official alert references and source URLs. That is more auditable than copying search snippets or scraping third-party summaries.

Input guidance

Use a required keyword of at least two characters (product, brand, model, or alert number), optional publication years, and maxAlerts. Results are newest first. Turn off includeDetails for faster summary-only runs. Set the maximum to the smallest useful number to keep runs predictable. A query can validly return no rows.

Reliability and billing

• Temporary source errors (timeouts, rate limits, 5xx responses) are retried automatically with backoff before a run gives up.
• Rows are published only after the source query finishes. If the official source stays unavailable, the run fails with a clear message and no rows are delivered or charged.
• Rows are de-duplicated across result pages, so you never pay twice for the same record.
• The Actor respects your maximum cost per run: it fetches only as many rows as your budget allows and says so in the status message and RUN_SUMMARY.
