Scrape Google News by keyword, topic or Google News URL, in any language and country, and get clean rows: headline, publisher, publish date, the real article URL (decoded from Google's redirect links) and optional related coverage. Export to JSON, CSV, Excel or straight into your pipeline via API.

  • $1 per 1,000 articles (+$0.50 per 1,000 decoded publisher URLs). Up to 4x cheaper than popular alternatives at $4-5 per 1,000.
  • More than 100 results: give a date range and the Actor searches day by day, then removes duplicates. A normal Google News search stops at 100.
  • Real URLs: news.google.com/rss/articles/... links are decoded to https://www.reuters.com/.... Failed decodes are not charged.
  • Any edition: language + country (en/US, tr/TR, de/DE, pt-BR/BR ...). Topic headlines: TOP, WORLD, BUSINESS, TECHNOLOGY, SPORTS, SCIENCE, HEALTH ...
  • Google News search operators: "exact phrase", -exclude, OR, site:reuters.com, intitle:.
  • Light and fast: no browser, no proxy, 256 MB. Bad input never fails the run; problems become free status rows.

Use cases

  • Media monitoring / PR: every article that mentions your brand, competitors or CEO, every day.
  • Market and investment research: news flow per company, sector or ticker, with dates for time series.
  • AI and RAG pipelines: fresh, dated news URLs to feed an LLM or a summariser (pair it with a URL-to-Markdown actor).
  • SEO and content: which publishers rank in Google News for your topics.
  • Local news: any country and language edition.

Pricing

Pay per event: $0.001 per article, $0.0005 per decoded URL (turn resolveUrls off to pay only $1 per 1,000). Status rows are free. Set a maximum cost per run in Apify and the Actor stops cleanly there.

FAQ

How do I get more than 100 articles? Set dateFrom (and optionally dateTo). Each day is searched separately, so a 30-day range can return up to about 3,000 articles for one query.

Why are some URLs not decoded? Google occasionally refuses a decode request. Those rows keep googleNewsUrl, have urlResolved: false and the decode is not charged.

Is it legal? The Actor reads Google News's public RSS feeds. Check Google's terms and your local law for your use case; do not republish full articles you do not own.
