This changelog highlights releases that materially changed Action Network Sports Odds Line Movement Scraper for users. Dates use UTC; small internal maintenance is intentionally omitted.
Reliability
- Added bounded private progress diagnostics for long runs to distinguish fetching, saving and charging delays when investigating timeouts. Odds output, limits and prices are unchanged.
- Save and charge odds rows in bounded batches to reduce storage latency on large inputs. Run charge budgets stop further output; storage and charge-request failures remain explicit. Prices and the one-charge-per-odds-row contract are unchanged.
Reliability
- Added private, sanitized failure diagnostics to help investigate failed runs and partial upstream outages without changing collected odds or pricing.
Features
- Added team-total lines and prices, source line-status indicators, week/broadcast/rotation context, team logos, and team records.
- Expanded the Console dataset view with existing and new analysis fields.
Reliability
- Duplicate leagues, dates, and sportsbook IDs are normalized before requests are created, and only requested sportsbook IDs are emitted even if the source returns extras.
- Transient upstream errors use bounded retries; partial failures are summarized, and a total upstream outage now fails explicitly instead of returning a misleading empty result.
Features
- Initial public release.
- Scrape Action Network sportsbook odds, line movement snapshots, game metadata, public betting percentages, moneylines, spreads, and totals by league/date.
