This changelog highlights releases that materially changed LinkedIn Profile Posts Scraper for users. Dates use UTC; small internal maintenance is intentionally omitted.
Reliability
- Runs with no nonblank profile or post URL now return zero results with an
INPUT_DIAGNOSTIC key-value-store record (invalid_input) without attempting a charge, instead of reporting a scraper failure. Valid-source access failures still fail honestly.
Reliability
- Profile activity requests that exhaust the upstream connection now also try the public base-profile fallback before failing. Runs with no deliverable posts now report an error instead of silently succeeding when LinkedIn blocks both routes or yields no usable posts.
Fixes
- Individual LinkedIn post URLs now work as a standalone input; no empty or dummy profile list is required. Existing profile and mixed-source inputs remain unchanged.
- Inputs with neither profiles nor post URLs now fail clearly instead of finishing without data.
- Dataset results now include complete field descriptions and display formats in Console and API schema metadata.
Features
- Initial public release.
- Extract recent public posts from LinkedIn profiles and individual post URLs with no customer cookies required.
