Google Videos Scraper is an Apify Actor that returns Google's video results for any search, from YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo and more: title, channel, duration, date and URL. It's built for code and AI agents: one JSON row per video, a clean schema and runs that finish in seconds.

Quick facts

  • What you get, one row per video: title, url, platform, channel, duration, durationSeconds, publishedText, publishedAt and more (all fields below).
  • Any country and language: set country and language.
  • Fast: plain HTTP through Apify's Google SERP proxy, no browser. A search takes a few seconds.
  • Price: $1.00 per 1,000 videos (less on paid Apify plans). Apify's free $5 monthly credit covers 5,000 videos.
  • AI agents: connect https://mcp.apify.com?tools=automationnation/google-videos-scraper (setup below).

What can you do with it?

  • Video SEO: see which videos and channels rank in Google for your keywords.
  • Content research: find the best videos on a topic across YouTube, TikTok, Vimeo and news sites.
  • Competitor tracking: monitor which creators and brands own video results in your niche.
  • AI and RAG: collect video URLs to transcribe; pair with our YouTube Transcript Scraper.

  2. Add one or more search queries.
  3. Set the country, language and how many videos you want per search, plus any filters.

Use it with AI agents (MCP)

Hosted: add https://mcp.apify.com?tools=automationnation/google-videos-scraper to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP client and sign in with Apify.

Local (Claude Desktop or Cursor config):

{
"mcpServers": {
"google-videos-scraper": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@apify/actors-mcp-server", "--tools", "automationnation/google-videos-scraper"],
"env": { "APIFY_TOKEN": "YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN" }
}
}
}

Then ask, for example: "Find the most useful sourdough tutorials under 20 minutes."

FAQ

Is this only YouTube? No. Google's Videos tab covers YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Vimeo, news sites and more; platform says which.

Can I get transcripts? Yes, send the YouTube URLs to our YouTube Transcript Scraper.

How many videos per search? Up to 300 (30 pages).

Can I filter by length? Yes: under 4 minutes, 4 to 20 minutes or over 20 minutes, plus a time filter.

Is it legal to scrape Google? The Actor reads public Google results, like a person searching. Use the data in line with the laws and terms that apply to you.

Why is it so fast and cheap? It reads Google's results pages over plain HTTP through Apify's Google SERP proxy: no browser, about a second per page.
