FAQ
Where does the data come from? From Pinterest Trends, Pinterest's own public trends tool. The numbers are Pinterest's relative search-volume index (0-100), not absolute search counts.
How fresh is it? Pinterest publishes weekly data with a lag of about a week. Every row includes data_end_date.
Why does the monthly change sometimes say 10000? Pinterest caps growth at +10,000%. New or breakout searches hit
the cap; is_new_trend marks them.
Why do some of my keywords return nothing? Pinterest only tracks keywords with enough search volume. Keywords without data are skipped and not charged.
Which countries are covered? The countries and region groups Pinterest Trends offers (listed above). Other countries are not available in Pinterest Trends.
Do I need a Pinterest account? No.
