🔎 What is the Fear & Greed Index history?

Alternative.me publishes one sentiment score for the crypto market per day, from 0 (extreme fear) to 100 (extreme greed). This Actor reads Alternative.me's own public API and gives you the history in a form you can backtest or chart right away.

What data does it extract?

• date: the day the value belongs to, YYYY-MM-DD (UTC)
• value: the index, 0 to 100
• value_classification: Extreme Fear, Fear, Neutral, Greed or Extreme Greed
• timestamp: the source's Unix timestamp for that day
• time_until_update: seconds until the next value (newest row only)
• source, scraped_at

Rows come newest first. value and timestamp are passed on as the source sends them (strings).
