Extract public data from Kick.com — channels, live streams, past broadcasts and clips — without a login, an API key, or a proxy.

Most Kick scrapers do one thing. This one covers four, and you can combine them in a single run: look up specific channels, search for channels by keyword, browse whatever is live right now, and pull each channel's VODs and clips.

What you can scrape

SourceWhat you get
ChannelsFollowers, bio, profile and banner images, verification, affiliate status, whether they are live right now, current title, viewers and category
SearchEvery channel matching a keyword, with the same fields
Live streamsA snapshot of who is streaming, with viewers, category, language, tags, maturity flag and thumbnail
Past broadcastsEach VOD with title, duration, peak viewers, category and thumbnail
ClipsTitle, creator, views, likes, duration, category and a direct video URL

Input

FieldTypeDescription
channelsarrayChannel slugs (xqc) or full URLs (https://kick.com/xqc)
searchQueriesarrayKeywords to search for channels
scrapeLiveStreamsbooleanBrowse channels that are live right now
liveStreamsLanguagestringWhich language of live streams to browse (default en)
liveStreamsSortBystringviewers for the busiest streams first (default), or newest for streams that just went live
includeVideosbooleanAlso fetch each channel's past broadcasts
includeClipsbooleanAlso fetch each channel's clips (paginated)
maxItemsintegerStop after this many items (default 100)
proxyConfigurationobjectOptional. Kick does not block datacenter traffic, so you normally leave this off

Example input

{
"channels": ["xqc", "adinross"],
"searchQueries": ["valorant"],
"scrapeLiveStreams": true,
"includeVideos": true,
"maxItems": 200
}

Output

Every item carries a type field (channel, livestream, video or clip), so a single run can mix all four and you can filter afterwards.

{
"type": "channel",
"slug": "xqc",
"url": "https://kick.com/xqc",
"username": "xQc",
"followersCount": 1362069,
"verified": true,
"isLive": false,
"currentCategory": null,
"recentCategories": ["IRL", "Games"],
"profilePicture": "https://files.kick.com/images/user/...",
"scrapedAt": "2026-10-26T09:29:41.230Z"
}
{
"type": "clip",
"clipId": "clip_01M5V7N46Q9ET7HFQE4FV6K5WK",
"title": "x pimping out marty",
"slug": "xqc",
"creator": "WhipTrikool",
"views": 21,
"likes": 0,
"durationSeconds": 180,
"category": "Just Chatting",
"videoUrl": "https://clips.kick.com/clips/67/..."
}

Durations are always in seconds, including for past broadcasts, where Kick's own API reports milliseconds.

What it is good for

  • Streamer analytics — track follower growth, streaming hours, category mix
  • Brand and sponsorship research — find channels in a category and size their audience
  • Content discovery — pull the most-viewed clips of a channel
  • Market monitoring — snapshot who is live, in which category, at what hour

Notes and limits

  • Only public data is collected. The scraper never logs in and cannot read private messages, subscriber lists or moderation data.
  • Chat messages are not included; Kick delivers chat over a websocket rather than the public API.
  • viewerCount can read 0 for a live channel when the streamer has hidden their view count.
  • Kick serves the data unauthenticated, so a run costs compute only — no proxy charges.

FAQ

Do I need a Kick account or API key? No. Everything comes from Kick's public endpoints.

How many channels can I scrape in one run? There is no hard limit. Use maxItems to cap the dataset, and remember that clips paginate, so a channel with many clips can produce hundreds of items.

Is scraping Kick legal? The Actor reads only public pages, the same data any visitor sees. You are responsible for how you use the data, including compliance with Kick's terms and with privacy law in your jurisdiction.
