Is it legal to scrape Alibaba?

It reads only what alibaba.com shows any visitor without an account: public listings, supplier profiles and public buying requests. Names of contact people and buyers are personal data under laws like the GDPR — have a lawful reason to process them.

Do I need an Alibaba account, cookies or a proxy?

No. The Actor needs no login and no proxy settings; if Alibaba shows a slider check, the request is retried on a fresh connection by itself.

Why are some fields empty?

Suppliers fill in their profiles differently — staff, factory size or certifications appear only when the supplier published them.

Can I get the reviews of one Alibaba product?

Yes — Reviews mode (in Alibaba Supplier Scraper and Alibaba Product Details Scraper) with a product URL. Alibaba files buyer reviews under the supplier, one review per order, each rating the products in that order. The Actor reads the supplier's reviews newest first (20 per page, Supplier review pages to scan) and keeps the ones that rate your product; switch Reviews of a product page to All reviews of the supplier to get everything. A supplier store URL like https://topko.en.alibaba.com/ always returns all of its reviews.

Can I send quotes with this Actor?

No — it only reads public buying requests. Quoting happens in your Alibaba seller account.
