Search Reddit posts, organize content by subreddit or user, and read individual post details and comments.
Use a subreddit name without a prefix, or the complete community URL. Keep post and parent-comment identifiers to organize discussions.
Actions
| Action | What you get | Required | Optional | Results per request | Price per request |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
search | Search Reddit posts from the past month by keyword, with subreddit, author, text and like and comment counts, sorted by relevance unless sort says otherwise. Comment text is not searched, and older history is not guaranteed. | keyword | sort | 10 (up to 50) | $0.0010 |
subreddit_posts | Browse the posts of a Reddit community by subreddit name, such as python, or URL. Get author, text and like and comment counts, filtered by time window and sort order. For names that start with r, pass a full /r/ URL. Private and removed posts are not included. | subreddit | date_range, sort | 10 (up to 100) | $0.0011 |
post_detail | Open a single Reddit post from its link. Read the title, body, author, subreddit and like and comment counts. Comments are not included. Fetch them with comments and the same url. | url | — | 1 | $0.0009 |
comments | Read the comments under one Reddit post, with up to five levels of nested replies. Each comment has text, author, score and time. It covers that post only, not a site-wide comment search. It may not capture every branch of the thread. | url | — | 10 (up to 100) | $0.0011 |
user_posts | Pull the posts a Reddit user has submitted, by username or /user/ URL. Get subreddit, text and like and comment counts, filtered by time window and sort order. Messages and private votes are excluded, and not every post is guaranteed. For usernames that start with u, pass a full URL. | username | date_range, sort | 10 (up to 50) | $0.0014 |
Input
Pick an action and fill the fields it uses. Example:
{"action": "search","keyword": "espresso"}
Fields that another action needs are ignored when left empty. API users can also pass {"action": ..., "params": {...}}.
Output
Each result is one dataset row. Rows keep every field the source page exposes for that action; a field the platform hides or leaves empty for a record is omitted rather than filled with a placeholder. When there is a next page, the run's OUTPUT record holds next_page_token.

Pricing
Pay per event, charged only when a run delivers data:
search: $0.0010, one event per started block of 10 results.subreddit_posts: $0.0011, one event per started block of 10 results.post_detail: $0.0009, one event per non-empty request, whatever the row count.comments: $0.0011, one event per started block of 10 results.user_posts: $0.0014, one event per started block of 10 results.
Empty or failed requests are never charged. There is no actor-start fee and no per-row fee. Apify platform usage may apply.
Free trial
The first 3 accepted data requests per Apify account are free across all EveryInfra Actors combined (a lifetime total, not per Actor and not reset). Invalid input does not use a trial; an accepted request that returns no data still does. After that a paid Apify plan is required.
Notes
- Results reflect what is publicly visible when the run happens; counts can be lower than requested.
- One run makes one request. For more pages, start another run with
page_tokenwhere the action supports it.
