🔒 Proxy: residential proxies required

CarSwitch rate-limits and challenges repeated requests from the same IP, especially from datacenter ranges. Use Apify residential proxies (useApifyProxy: true with the RESIDENTIAL group). Runs without a proxy, or with datacenter proxies, are likely to be blocked partway through. Requests are sent one at a time with a short delay to stay within the site's limits.

Which countries are covered? The UAE (carswitch.com) and Saudi Arabia (ksa.carswitch.com).

Does it support Arabic? Yes. Use /ar/ URLs on the UAE site; the Saudi site is Arabic by default and uses /en/ for English. The language field reflects the start URL. Values such as make and city are returned as site codes in both languages.

Can I use filters? Yes. Path filters (city, make, category) and query-parameter filters (price, year, mileage, body type, …) are supported. Paste the filtered URL from the site.

How does pagination work? The scraper follows pages automatically until maxItems or the last page is reached. A start URL with ?page=N begins at that page.

What happens with an unknown make? CarSwitch redirects it to the general search page, so you get general listings instead of an empty result. Use makes that appear on the site.
