Previously these runs would take ~13 seconds. This one took 2 minutes longer. Is there any reason why there would be a 800% increase in runtime? These run times won't work for us.

Unfortunately, this is the inherited flaw of web-scraping, which we cannot do much about. In your case, the initial two requests timed-out after 60s each, which is what caused the increased time.
Since for scraping we need to rotate proxies in order not to get blocked, we often stumble upon some, which are slow and timeout even after 60s.
