I have used the Tiktok Hashtag Scraper and the TikTok Data Extractor attempting to pull a hashtag (DogsofTiktok), but I cannot get the program to pull more than ~200 results. At a minimum, I was hoping to pull at least 800 results, and I know that this hashtag should have millions of posts. Why is this happening and is there something I can do on my end to pull the max results? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for submitting the issue! After a recent TikTok website update we're getting less results and are working on a fix to bring it back to at least several hundreds. Even in that case, we wouldn't be capable of scraping millions of posts, because TikTok's API just cuts scrolling at some point (although we're exploring alternative ways, e.g. to use mobile API)
We'll notify you when we're again capable to consistently scrape at least several hundred results

Thank you for the information. Do you have an estimation of when these fixes will be implemented? Additionally, do you know if the fix will allow the scraper to bring back ~800 posts? I purchased the Apify monthly account only to pull these hashtags from Tiktok, so I am trying to decide if I should suspend my membership until this is fixed.

Hi, this stuff is very hard to estimate because we are essentially exploring a completely different data extraction to our current stuff. But very roughly, I would say about 2–6 weeks.
If you can suspend your monthly subscription, then please do so. We will keep you updated here and notify you when it's ready :)
