What order are videos being scraped?

Does the scraper search the hashtag, and return videos first to last depending on what appears in the TikTok web UI? Is this the same for every user? Different videos appear in my web UI than are being scraped by the actor, so it'd be great if we had more information about the method used. Thanks
Hi Liam, thanks for opening this issue!
Actually recently, TikTok has removed the ability for non-logged in users to scrape their search pages at all, so our method is a bit different one. We basically scrape their old web-client API to get the results. TikTok randomizes the shown results to anonymous users, so their order and if they are even going to get scraper is inherently going to be random.
You can make the results ordered and consistent by being logged in, but that is something we cannot provide as a service, as legally we can only scrape publicly available data.

Hi, unfortunately no, since this doesn't seem to be an option on TikTok, we cannot scrape it as such. Though, generally speaking, the hashtags that you will find will contain the most viewed videos anyway.
