Collect normalized public technology-job cards from Dice search pages. The Actor uses the server-rendered public HTML and does not log in, call private APIs, evade challenges, or impersonate a browser.
Input
Provide a 2–100 character searchQuery. Optional location, radius, employmentType, and workplaceTypes values are passed to the public search URL. maxItems (1–100), maxPages (1–5), retries, delay, and timeout are hard safety bounds. Direct access is the default; an explicitly requested Apify or custom proxy is used exactly or the run fails.
{"searchQuery":"JavaScript","location":"Remote","maxItems":20,"maxPages":1}
Output
Each dataset item is a real visible Dice job card with a stable Dice GUID identity, title, company, location, canonical /job-detail/ URL, observed posting text, and available employment, salary, description, and easy-apply fields. sourceUrl, source type/domain, content hash, query, and scrape timestamp preserve provenance. Missing optional fields are omitted. Dataset records never contain diagnostic placeholders.
OUTPUT_SUMMARY records success, counts, duplicates, pages, connection mode, timing, or a failure message. A challenge, failed request, or empty first page fails clearly instead of reporting empty success.
Limits and responsible use
Results and filters reflect Dice’s current public page and can change. postedText is the visible relative label, not a fabricated exact date. Salary numbers are parsed only when a visible numeric range is present. Review Dice’s terms and applicable law before use; do not use job data for discriminatory decisions or abusive outreach.
