Resurrection on Different Runs
I just want clarification before I start to resurrect a run because I don't want to waste credits. If I were to start one would the run be duplicated or would it start from where it left off last time? Also is there a time limit for how long a run gets saved in actor's file? These is my biggest concern but please also fill me in on how I'd go about with resurrecting a run!
Hi there! Thank you for reaching out. Just to clarify - I can see the run you’ve shared has finished, it wasn’t aborted and didn’t hit out of memory limit. If you were to resurrect an aborted run, there’d be a “resurrect” button option and the run would just continue where it left off. This is not the case with your shared run though, this one has finished and scraped all the data available at the time for the respective input. If I understand correctly, you would now like to run the scrape again with the same input and only get new data, is that correct? If that's so, please note that the Actor will scrape all available data for the given input each time you run it. I'd recommend checking our Merge, Dedup & Transform Datasets Actor for this.
Regarding the time limit for how long a run is saved - datasets have an expiry date after which they are deleted. The default data retention is 31 days. You can adjust this in Billing - Limits tab of the Console.
Hope this helps! Cheers, Andrea
