Does this require an account or API key? No. Distiller's spirit data is publicly accessible. The actor uses a public API token embedded on every Distiller page.

What is the Distiller Score? The Distiller Score (0–100) is an expert assessment by Distiller's editorial team based on quality, value, and overall impression. It's separate from the community rating.

What spirit types are supported? Whisky, whiskey, bourbon, scotch, gin, rum, vodka, tequila, mezcal, cognac, brandy, liqueurs/bitters, absinthe, sake, and shochu.

Can I search for specific bottles? Yes. Use mode=search with the spirit's exact name (e.g. "Lagavulin 16 Year", "Buffalo Trace", "Hendrick's Gin").

What does the flavor profile data look like? Each spirit has numeric scores (0–100) for dimensions including sweet, rich, spicy, herbal, fruity, floral, bitter, tart, earthy, roast, nutty, woody, smoky, and oily.

Is there price history available? Yes. When fetchDetails=true, each record includes yearlyPriceHistory with year-over-year average price data from reviewer submissions.

Is proxy required? No. The actor works without proxy on Apify's free datacenter network.

Data Source

Data is sourced from distiller.com, which provides publicly accessible spirit detail pages and a public REST API. No registration is required.
