AMS Austria jobs scraper for public vacancies on the Austrian employment board (alle jobs). A practical AMS jobs API alternative: search by keyword, city, radius, working time, or contract, or paste a search / vacancy URL. Export title, employer, city, federal state, salary text when the posting states it, contract, and the job description as JSON, CSV, or Excel. Fast HTTP, no headless browser, no login. Run it with Python, Node.js, cURL, or Apify MCP.
Use it for recruiting coverage in Austria, employer lists, and a daily watch of new vacancy ids.

When to use this Actor
- You need an AMS Austria scraper / jobs.ams.at scraper that returns structured vacancies
- You want keyword + city + contract without a partner API key
- You need employer, location, and the description on the same row
- You run a daily monitor and only want vacancy ids that were not seen last time
When not to use this Actor
- Candidate profiles or CVs — public vacancies only
- Recruiter emails, phones, or street addresses — those fields are not saved
- Logged-in MeinAMS — no login
- German public jobs — use Arbeitsagentur Jobs Scraper
- Commercial DACH boards — use Stepstone Jobs Scraper
Key features
- Public vacancy search plus the public vacancy page (company introduction and availability date)
- City names can take a radius (5–100 km) when the public location list resolves the place
- Working time (full-time / part-time), employment type, education, green jobs, and posted-within filters
- Monitor mode stores seen vacancy ids and saves only new rows
- 256 MB HTTP run, proxy off by default
Input
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
keyword | Job title, skill, or employer |
location | City, postal code, or federal state |
radiusKm | 0–100 km around that place. 0 keeps the place text only |
workingTime | V full-time, T part-time, or empty |
employmentType | AA, LS (apprenticeship), SS (seasonal), FS (holiday job), BB, or empty |
educationLevel | P*, M*, L*, H*, U* (university / FH), or empty |
postedWithin | LAST_24_HOURS, LAST_2_DAYS, LAST_WEEK, LAST_MONTH, or empty |
greenJobsOnly | Keep vacancies flagged as green jobs |
sortBy | relevance or date. Monitor mode uses date |
startUrls | Search or vacancy URLs. They replace keyword and location |
includeDetails | Fetch the company introduction. Default on. One row is still one job |
maxItems / maxPages | Caps. The search returns 20 vacancies per page |
monitorMode | Save only new vacancy ids on later runs |
{"keyword": "Softwareentwickler","location": "Wien","radiusKm": 0,"workingTime": "V","maxItems": 50,"includeDetails": true,"proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": false }}
Search URL example inside a run input:
{"startUrls": [{ "url": "https://jobs.ams.at/public/emps/jobs?query=Pflege&location=Wien" }],"maxItems": 20}
Output
One dataset row is one vacancy. Street and personal contact fields are omitted. Salary is the phrase the posting already states; many vacancies have no salary text.

salaryText | Pay phrase when the posting states one |
summary, description, companyIntroduction | Vacancy text |
availableFrom, lastUpdatedAt | Start and freshness |

url | Public vacancy page |
{"jobId": "22963868","uuid": "696103c5-f2df-3944-9564-499e7f784445","title": "Softwareentwickler/in","company": "Fronius International GmbH","city": "Wien","zipCode": "1100","federalState": "Wien","workingTime": "Vollzeit","employmentType": "Angestellte","salaryText": "Gehalt ab 4.200 EUR brutto","url": "https://jobs.ams.at/public/emps/jobs/696103c5-f2df-3944-9564-499e7f784445"}

FAQ
Does this use a partner API or a login? No. It reads the public job search and the public vacancy page. No MeinAMS login.
What does a radius do? A radius above 0 looks up the place in the public location list and sends that id with the distance. If the lookup fails, the search keeps the place text.
What does monitor mode save? Only vacancy ids that were not stored on a previous run. The first run is the baseline. A later run with nothing new still starts and writes no new rows.
Are external portals included?
The row keeps portalName and externalUrl when the search already returns them. This Actor does not open StepStone, karriere.at, or XING pages.
