Options

Two fields cost extra at the source and are therefore opt-in. Both are one checkbox away, and both are charged only when the data actually comes back:

• Rating and review count — current star rating and number of reviews.
• Buy Box data — current winner, price, shipping, Prime and FBA flags.
• Statistics period — 1 to 365 days for the average, lowest and highest price. Free of charge; it is computed from history that already exists.
• Lookup by barcode — EAN, UPC or ISBN-13 instead of ASIN. One code can resolve to several products.

How the data reads

• Prices are numbers in the marketplace's currency, already in major units. The currency field is authoritative — a $ symbol does not mean USD in Canada, Australia or Mexico.
• Missing values are omitted, never zeroed. If a field is absent, the source has no value for it. A fee of 0 would be a claim we cannot support, so we do not make it.
• Dimensions are millimetres, weights are grams.
• productType tells you what you are looking at: standard, ebook, downloadable, variationParent, unaccessible, or invalid for an ASIN that does not exist in this marketplace.

Pricing

Charged per product delivered. Buy Box and rating are separate events, charged only when that data is actually returned.

Errors are never charged — ASINs that do not exist come back as status: "notFound", and if capacity is momentarily exhausted you get status: "currentlyUnavailable" with a retryAfterSeconds hint instead of a failed run.
