Stop reading the wrong government bids
Bid Fit Scout turns a noisy SAM.gov search into a ranked shortlist of opportunities worth your attention. It is built for GovCon consultants, proposal teams, and small federal contractors who already search SAM.gov but lose time opening notices that do not fit.
What you get
For every qualified notice, the Actor returns:
- a transparent 0–100 fit score;
- the matching service keywords, NAICS code, set-aside, and location;
- the response deadline and days remaining;
- plain-English reasons the notice fits;
- risk flags that deserve a human review; and
- a direct link to the official SAM.gov notice.
It does not write or submit bids. It helps you decide which notices deserve a closer look.
Try it in 30 seconds
- Click Try for free.
- Leave the default keyword
janitorialand run it without a key to see one clearly labeled demo result. - For live opportunities, paste your free personal SAM.gov public API key from SAM.gov → Account Details → Public API Key.
- Replace
janitorialwith the products or services you sell. Add NAICS, set-aside, and state filters only when useful.
Your SAM.gov key is marked secret in the input form. Bid Fit Scout calls the official SAM.gov Opportunities API and does not scrape the website.
Good fits
- GovCon consultants: create repeatable shortlists for several client profiles.
- Proposal and capture teams: reduce first-pass opportunity triage.
- Small contractors: focus on notices matching their capabilities and certifications.
- Automation builders: schedule runs and send results to Google Sheets, webhooks, or other Apify integrations.
Example
A Maryland janitorial vendor enters janitorial, NAICS 561720, set-aside SBA, and state MD. Instead of reviewing every new SAM.gov notice, the vendor receives only matching opportunities with deadlines, fit reasons, and risk flags.
Pricing
Runs cost $0.02 to start plus $4 per 1,000 returned results. A typical 50-result shortlist costs about $0.22. Apify meters usage automatically.
Important limits
Scores are prioritization aids, not legal, eligibility, or bid/no-bid advice. Always read the complete notice and attachments, confirm representations and certifications, and follow the contracting officer's instructions. The Actor cannot guarantee that you qualify or will win.
Support
If a live run fails or a field looks wrong, open an issue from the Issues tab and include the run ID. Never paste your SAM.gov API key into an issue.
