Amazon Product Data Scraper – Keyword & Category Product Crawler
Effortlessly scrape structured Amazon product data from search keywords or filtered category/listing URLs. Perfect for market research, price monitoring, competitor analysis, SEO content, and e‑commerce automation.
🔍 What This Actor Does
This Actor automatically visits Amazon search or category listing pages and extracts clean, structured product data into a downloadable dataset (JSON, CSV, Excel via Apify).
You can:
- Search by keywords (e.g.
mechanical keyboard, ipad, gaming mouse) - Paste any filtered Amazon list / search URL (price, brand, rating, Prime only, etc.)
- Control volume with max items per keyword/URL
🌟 Key Features
- Two powerful input modes
- Search by keyword: Let the Actor search Amazon for each term you provide.
- Scrape filtered URLs: Paste full Amazon search or category URLs with your own filters already applied.
- 20 Amazon country websites
- Scrape Amazon.com, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, India, Singapore, Ireland, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and Turkey — each exactly as its local buyers see it (local language, currency and delivery)
- Language, currency & delivery location settings
- Same options as Amazon's own Change language / Change currency / Deliver to menus
- On Amazon.com: product data in 9 languages, prices in 83 currencies, and the exact product selection shown to buyers in any of Amazon's 240 ship-to countries — or at a precise zip code (works on every website, using its own postal system)
- Two speed/cost modes (
Scrape Product Details)- ON (default): visit each product's detail page for the full field set below.
- OFF: use only the search results page — up to ~20× fewer requests, much faster and cheaper — returning the core listing fields (title, price, rating, review count, bought-in-past-month, badge, thumbnail).
- Rich product data (45 fields, all from the pages Amazon already serves — no extra requests)
- Search source (the keyword/URL each product came from), ASIN, product URL, title, brand & brand page, breadcrumbs
- Price (as text and a numeric
price_value+currencycode), list price, discount %, unit price, Subscribe & Save price, coupon - Rating stars, rating count, rating distribution, Best Sellers Rank, "bought in past month", badge (Amazon's Choice / Best Seller / Overall Pick)
- Default variant and all variants (every variant ASIN + attributes)
- Buy box: availability, delivery & fastest delivery date, ships from, seller name & page, returns policy, other sellers (offer count + lowest price)
- Full-size images, product videos (title, duration, stream URL, creator type)
- About this item, the complete Product information table, model number, manufacturer, what's in the box, important information (ingredients / directions / safety)
- Product description and the A+ "From the manufacturer" text
- Amazon's AI review summary, "Customers say" aspect tags (mentions, positive / negative), top reviews (local + international)
- Scrape timestamp
- Fast & scalable
- Set
Max Items— the exact number of products you want per keyword/URL (pagination handled automatically)
- Set
- Clean, analysis‑ready output
- Ideal for BI tools, spreadsheets, data warehouses, and ML pipelines
- No Amazon API key needed
- Works directly on the Amazon website pages you already use in your browser

📥 Input Parameters
Two ways to tell the Actor what to scrape — use either, or both in one run:
| Mode | You provide | What shapes the results |
|---|---|---|
| 🔎 Search by keywords | Search terms | website, sort, language (this section) |
| 🔗 Your own Amazon URLs | URLs copied from your browser after filtering | The URL itself — its site, filters, sort order and language are used exactly as-is |
Two more sections apply to both modes: 📍 Delivery & currency (a URL can't carry these — they live in the Amazon session) and ⚙️ Output & limits.
One rule to remember: keyword searches follow your settings; URLs are scraped exactly as you filtered them — only delivery/currency and limits are applied on top.
🔎 Search by keywords
Keywords– search terms, one per line (e.g.mechanical keyboard,usb-c hub).website– Amazon site to search, same as Amazon's Change country/region menu. 20 sites: US, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, India, Singapore, Ireland, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Turkey. Defaultamazon.com.sort– same as Amazon's Sort by dropdown:Featured(default),Price: Low to High,Price: High to Low,Avg. Customer Review,Newest Arrivals,Best Sellers. Results are saved in the order Amazon returns them, so a price-sorted search gives you a price-sorted dataset.language– page language, same as Amazon's Change language menu.Site defaultuses the site's own language; if a site doesn't offer the chosen language, its default is used (noted in the run log). On amazon.com, languages other than English/Spanish only take effect whendeliverTois outside the US (Amazon's own rule).
🔗 Or scrape your own Amazon URLs
Urls– full Amazon search or category URLs, one per line. Apply your filters in the browser (price, brand, rating, Prime, sort order, language…), copy the URL from the address bar, paste it here.- The URL is used as-is — nothing in the keywords section touches it.
- The Amazon site is taken from the URL's domain; a language chosen in the browser (
/-/en/in the path or&language=) is respected too. - Page numbers in the URL are ignored — scraping always starts from page 1 and
maxItemsdecides how far it goes.
📍 Delivery & currency (both modes)
deliverTo– delivery country for amazon.com, same as the Deliver to location on Amazon (240 countries/regions). Affects which products appear, their prices and availability — pick the country your buyers are in. Other sites always deliver domestically.zipCode– a postal code for a precise Deliver to location, in the selected site's own format (e.g.10010on amazon.com,160-0022on amazon.co.jp). A code Amazon rejects falls back to the site's default location (noted in the log). On amazon.de and amazon.co.uk the location follows a local IP instead, so zip codes can't be applied there.currency– same as Amazon's Change currency menu (83 currencies).Site defaultkeeps the site's own currency. Amazon converts prices where it supports the chosen currency; otherwise they stay in the site's currency. On amazon.com, conversion only applies whendeliverTois outside the US. The output'scurrencyfield always reflects the actual currency of each price.
⚙️ Output & limits (both modes)
maxItems– products to collect per keyword / URL (default100); pagination is automatic. Lower = faster and cheaper.scrapeProductDetails– ON (default): visit each product page for the full field set (description, best sellers rank, seller, rating breakdown, all images, all variants…). OFF: listing-page fields only, up to ~20× fewer requests — ideal for quick catalog sweeps.
Tips: for a quick test set maxItems to 10; for a cheap sweep turn scrapeProductDetails off.

You’ll get one such JSON object per product, which you can export to CSV, Excel, or connect to other systems using Apify integrations. Some fields are empty when Amazon doesn't show them for that product (e.g. coupon, list_price, recent_purchases; other_sellers is {} above because this product has a single offer — with more offers it looks like {"text": "New & Used (7) from $64.81 & FREE Shipping.", "count": 7, "from_price": "$64.81", "url": "https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/..."}).
💰 How Much Does It Cost?
You pay per result, and there's no Amazon API fee on top. Runs are fast because the Actor talks to Amazon directly instead of driving a browser.
Two easy ways to control cost:
Max Items— scrape only as many products as you need.Scrape Product Details= off — listing-only mode makes up to ~20× fewer requests, so a large catalog sweep runs much faster and cheaper. Turn it on only when you need the full detail fields.
New Apify accounts include free monthly usage, which is enough to try this Actor and run small jobs at no cost.

💡 Tips for Best Results
- Start with a small test run:
- 1–2 keywords or URLs
maxItems = 10
- About language / currency / deliver-to settings:
- The result set genuinely changes with
deliverTo(just like in a real browser), so totals may differ between countries — that's Amazon, not a bug. - Products that can't be shipped to the selected country have no buy box on Amazon, so their
price/availability/seller_namecome back empty — same as what a real buyer in that country sees. - In non-English languages, a few label-based text fields (e.g.
seller_name,best_sellers_rank) rely on Amazon's translated page labels; core fields (title, price, rating, images, ASIN) are unaffected.
- The result set genuinely changes with
- Then gradually scale up when you’re happy with:
- Fields returned
- Data volume per run
- Usage cost per 1,000 products
- Combine with other Apify Actors to:
- Scrape reviews for selected ASINs
- Enrich your database with deep product details

❓ FAQ and Support
Do I need an Amazon account or API key? No. This Actor works directly on Amazon's public pages — no login, no Amazon API key.
Which Amazon websites are supported? 20 country websites: United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia, India, Singapore, Ireland, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and Turkey.
How do I make runs faster and cheaper?
Lower Max Items, and turn Scrape Product Details off for a listing-only sweep (up to ~20× fewer requests).
Can I get data in a local language or currency?
Yes. language and currency work on all 20 sites — set them once and they apply wherever the site offers that option; otherwise the site's default is used (noted in the run log). deliverTo is for amazon.com (ship-to country); other sites always deliver domestically. For URLs, the URL's own site and language are respected; only delivery and currency are applied on top.
Why are some fields empty?
Amazon simply doesn't show them for that product (e.g. no coupon, no list price), or the product can't ship to the selected country. The output always reflects what a real buyer would see. A few field-specific notes: other_sellers is {} when the product has a single offer (Amazon then shows no "Other sellers" link); manufacturer_description is empty when the brand's A+ section is made of images only (the text is baked into the pictures); videos is [] when the page has no videos.
How do I play or download the product videos?
videos[].url is the same stream Amazon's player uses — an HLS playlist (.m3u8). Open it in VLC or download it with ffmpeg -i <url> -c copy video.mp4. thumbnail is a plain image URL.
Is scraping this data legal / GDPR-compliant? This Actor collects only publicly available product information and does not collect personal data. You are responsible for using the scraped data in compliance with Amazon's terms and applicable laws (including GDPR). If you have questions about your specific use case, consult a legal professional.
