Is it possible to filter on a few selected categories?
no, upwork does not allow more than 1 category

If you use Upwork, it is possible to multi select few categories in the browser when filtering jobs selection.
I think we are not talking about the same categories. The categories I mean are here: https://www.upwork.com/nx/search/jobs/?q=javascript You can only select 1 (sub)category (its parent category is not selectable)

I meant the same. I can select multiple subcategories, even from the different branches.

that's strange, I cannot select more than 1. what is the url of the page in your screenshot?
ok, I've now found out what the difference is. When signed in, you can select multiple categories, when not signed in only one. I'll check if the difference is only in the UI or not. The scraper will run as a non-signed in user, so if it's only in the UI, I will update the scraper. I'll have time tomorrow to investigate. I'll keep you updated
