Export Alibaba.com product search results for sourcing shortlists, price comparisons and supplier discovery. Each row includes a product title and URL, available price and minimum order quantity (MOQ) text, supplier signals, an image and the source query.
This Actor extracts search listings, not full product details or supplier contact databases. Start with a small query and check field availability before increasing your limits.
Quick start
- Enter a product phrase in Search queries, such as
solar panel. - Start with
maxItemsPerQuery: 5and run the Actor. - Review the saved rows, then export JSON, CSV or Excel from the dataset.
{"queries":["solar panel"],"maxItemsPerQuery":5}
Prefer a video guide? This short Apify walkthrough shows you how to set up and run an Actor. It uses a different Actor, but the setup steps are the same.
What you get
One row per saved product search result, carrying its query, position, product link and available price, MOQ and supplier text. Keep those original values for manual sourcing review. Missing details remain unknown, and detected supplier signals are not independent verification.
Who is it for?
- Wholesale buyers preparing a small product shortlist before discussing terms with a supplier.
- Sourcing agencies assembling product sheets with original Alibaba links for client review.
- Ecommerce researchers comparing the visible price and MOQ text for a defined product niche.
- Market analysts keeping repeated keyword exports for comparison in their own tools.
How you can use the data
- Build a solar-panel sourcing sheet. Search
solar panel, then exportquery, rank, title, url, priceText, moqTextandsupplierName. Open the source product links before requesting current terms. - Review a second product niche separately. Search
yoga matwith a small per-query cap and keep the query with every row. Adding queries increases the total potential work and saved rows. - Prepare a manual supplier review. Keep available supplier names and detected supplier-status or trade-assurance signals beside each product. These signals are not independent verification, and a missing or false signal does not establish a supplier's trustworthiness.
- Compare your own search snapshots. Retain product URLs and
scrapedAt, then review later exports in your spreadsheet. Text prices and MOQs are not normalized or binding supplier quotes.
Input settings
{"queries": ["solar panel", "yoga mat"],"maxItemsPerQuery": 10,"maxRetriesPerQuery": 1}
Input recipes
- Search
solar panelto compare visible prices, MOQ, and supplier signals. - Search
yoga matto export a second target-bound sourcing dataset.

Download your results
Open your run's dataset, choose Export and select JSON, CSV or Excel. JSON keeps nested fields together. CSV and Excel are useful when you want to review the records in a spreadsheet.
See Apify's download and export guide for the available formats and field options.
Pricing
This Actor uses pay-per-event pricing:
actor-startis charged once after the initial input checks, even if no product rows are eventually saved.resultis charged once for each product row saved. Failed queries do not incur result charges.
Missing search queries and malformed connection values are rejected before the start event. Other configuration or extraction failures can occur after it. Account-tier discounts are applied automatically by Apify.
See the live Apify Pricing tab for current rates and account-tier discounts.
Tips for best results
- Start with one product phrase and a five-row cap. Inspect the returned fields before adding more queries.
- Keep query and source links with each row. This makes a sourcing sheet easier to check against the product that produced it.
- Treat price and MOQ text as a first review. Confirm the current offer and quantity terms with the supplier before making a purchasing decision.
- Review the run summary after a partial batch. Separate successful-query products from searches that did not return usable results.
Limits and caveats
maxItemsPerQuery is 1–100, with a default of 10. It limits each query, not the entire run. navigationTimeoutMs is 5,000–60,000, with a default of 25,000. maxRetriesPerQuery is 0–3, with a default of 1.
Prices, MOQ text and supplier fields vary by listing. Boolean supplier signals describe detected source signals, not independent business verification. Price and MOQ values are text rather than normalized quotes. Confirm current terms with the supplier before purchasing.
Alibaba can block requests. Some queries may fail while others return useful records. Inspect RUN_SUMMARY and the dataset together. The run fails if every query fails with no saved products. An empty result alone does not establish why data was unavailable.
Automation and integrations
Save your settings for next time
Once you have an input that works for you, save it as an Apify task. This keeps your settings together so you can use them again without filling in the form from scratch.
Run on a schedule
Need fresh results regularly? You can schedule the Actor or a saved task to run at a time that suits you.
Each scheduled run collects the data again. If you want to compare results or highlight changes, add that step in your own workflow.
Send results to your other tools
Use n8n, Make or Zapier to connect this scraper to the rest of your workflow. For example, you could pass its results to an AI assistant or add records to a spreadsheet. Follow the Apify integration guides for your chosen tool.
For a custom connection, an Apify webhook can notify your app when a run finishes or fails. Your app can then fetch the results or handle the failure.
API usage
Want to collect this data from your own app or automation? The examples below send input to the scraper and show how to collect its results.
The Node.js and Python examples wait for the run to finish before reading its results. The cURL example starts the run and returns its details. Wait for that run to finish, then use its defaultDatasetId to fetch the results.
For setup instructions, see Apify's JavaScript client guide, Python client guide and Actor runs API reference.

MCP and AI agents notes
Use a non-empty queries array. This Actor has one search mode, not separate product-detail or supplier-profile modes. Read saved rows from the run's default dataset. Treat missing supplier fields as unavailable rather than inferring contact details, certification or reliability. Keep query counts and maxItemsPerQuery low until you have checked relevance and charges.
MCP and AI agents
You can ask your AI assistant to collect data with Alibaba Products and Suppliers Scraper and help you work with the results. The scraper returns the data, and your assistant can then summarize it, compare records or prepare notes.
Connect your assistant through the Apify MCP server. MCP gives your assistant a way to find this scraper, run it and read the results. Follow the official setup and sign-in guide for your app.
Easier setup with an Apify plugin
If you use a supported coding assistant, the official Apify plugin can set up the connection for you. It connects your assistant to Apify and includes instructions for common tasks. Follow the guide for your particular app.
Use Apify AI in Console
Prefer to keep everything in Apify? Open Apify AI in Console and ask it to find Fetch Cat's Alibaba Products and Suppliers Scraper. You can describe the data you want and ask questions about the results.
Apify AI is currently in beta. It asks for confirmation before starting an Actor, and normal run charges apply.
Choose your assistant
- Claude and Claude Code (Anthropic): Apify setup guide.
- ChatGPT and Codex (OpenAI): Apify setup guides.
- Grok Bot (xAI): Apify plugin guide.
- Gemini CLI (Google): MCP server setup guide. Use the server URL below with the HTTP configuration supported by Gemini CLI.
Connect just this scraper
To keep your setup focused on this scraper, add this server configuration to a compatible MCP client:
{"mcpServers": {"apify": {"url": "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=fetch_cat/alibaba-products-suppliers-scraper"}}}
Sign in to Apify when your client asks. If your client uses a Bearer token instead, follow its setup guide and keep the token in its secure configuration. Configuration formats vary by app, so use the linked guide if your client needs a different format.
Use Apify's general server
Already connected to the general Apify MCP server at https://mcp.apify.com? You can use it to find this scraper without adding another server. Ask your assistant to use Alibaba Products and Suppliers Scraper by Fetch Cat, or give it the identifier fetch_cat/alibaba-products-suppliers-scraper.
Your assistant can check the available settings and retrieve the results from the returned run. If the run is still working, it should follow that run rather than start it again. Both connection options use Apify's hosted service.
Example requests
- “Use Fetch Cat’s Alibaba Products & Suppliers Scraper to search solar panel with a maximum of 5 products for that query. Make a sourcing table of product links, price text, MOQ text and supplier names, marking missing values.”
- “Search yoga mat with this scraper and save up to 5 products. Show detected supplier-status and trade-assurance signals as unverified source signals so I can review the original listings.”
- “Collect up to 3 products each for solar panel and yoga mat. Keep each query and collection time with the product links, and explain any failed queries from the run summary separately.”
Normal Apify charges apply. Check the live Pricing tab before asking your assistant to run a larger batch.
Pay with x402
If your AI agent has a funded wallet, it can pay for Apify usage through x402. This experimental option lets an agent use Apify without a conventional account.
Apify AGI provides a prepaid API token with a spending cap after payment. Your agent can use that token to run this scraper through the Apify API or an authenticated MCP connection.
Some MCP setups also support paying for each request directly. That is a different payment option, so check the official guide for its availability.
Follow the official guide for wallet setup, supported payment options and current terms. Apify handles the payments. Keep wallet keys and payment tokens in your agent's secure configuration.
Other ways for agents to pay
Apify also supports MPP for prepaid access through AGI and Skyfire for eligible Actors. If your agent already uses one of these, see the agentic payment guide to choose the right setup.
