Extract public Instagram post captions, authors, timestamps, media URLs, and visible engagement metrics from direct post URLs.
Direct public Instagram post URLs in /p/{shortcode}/ format. Profile, hashtag, search, private, and login-only URLs are not supported.
Process only the first N URLs, in input order, including any invalid or duplicate entries. The form defaults to 3; API input that omits maxItems processes the supplied list. Maximum 1,000 URLs.
Include public thumbnail/display/video URLs when Instagram exposes them in the page metadata.
Disabled by default: requests stay direct when omitted or useApifyProxy is false. Set useApifyProxy to true to use the existing configured proxy fallback on retryable failures after the first direct attempt (at most three attempts total). Existing managed groups/country and custom proxy settings are forwarded unchanged only with this explicit opt-in; custom proxy URLs alone do not activate fallback. useApifyProxy must be a boolean, not text or a number. Proxy usage may add platform costs and cannot unlock private or login-only posts.
