Public Mastodon instance to query, for example https://mastodon.social. Requests use direct anonymous access only; there is no proxy setting or automatic proxy fallback. Instance access restrictions still apply.
Choose hashtag, account posts, public timeline, or one status. Defaults to hashtag; supply hashtag for API calls in that mode. Each mode returns status rows with embedded author profiles, not standalone profile rows.
Required only for accountStatuses mode: numeric local account ID or public handle, for example Gargron or Gargron@mastodon.social. Ignored in other modes.
Required only for statusByUrlOrId mode: local numeric status ID or an http(s) status URL on the selected instance. Remote URLs are not resolved; use their local ID on the chosen instance. Ignored in other modes.
Maximum saved status rows, from 1 to 5000; defaults to 20. Single-status mode saves at most one row. Boosts of the same status are saved once, and fewer rows may be available.
