Give it an Android package name or Google Play URL and it returns one row per review: review ID, star rating, review text, reviewer name and photo, the app version it was left on, helpful votes, and when it was posted. Sort by newest, most relevant, or rating, keep one star rating only, or keep only the last N days. It returns up to 100 reviews per request.

Input

FieldTypeRequiredDescription
appIdstringyesAndroid package name or the full Google Play URL of the app, for example com.whatsapp.
sortBystringnoHow to order the reviews. One of: newest, mostRelevant, rating.
ratingintegernoOnly return reviews with exactly this many stars, from 1 to 5. Leave empty for all ratings.
recentDaysintegernoOnly return reviews from the last this many days. Leave empty for no time limit.
maxItemsintegernoStop after this many results. Defaults to 100. Each result is charged once.

Output

Every result row is written to the dataset as one JSON object:

{
"id": "18f79504-e09f-4529-82a4-0b75d6aebd59",
"rating": 1,
"text": "Side-by-side view on Z Fold phones not working anymore after update even though the setting is still on.",
"author": "Grace De Jesus",
"version": "2.26.28.77",
"helpfulVotes": 26,
"createdUtc": 1785100506,
"authorAvatarUrl": "https://play-lh.googleusercontent.com/example-avatar",
"source": "AnyAPI"
}

Standby mode

This Actor also runs in Standby mode. Send the same input as a JSON body in a POST request and it answers with { "items": [ ... ] }, the same rows a standard run would write, charged the same way.

Pricing

This Actor is billed per result, plus one small fixed charge per run. A result event is charged for every row it writes, and the Actor Start event is charged once when the run begins. A run that finds nothing, or that comes back with an empty list, writes no rows and pays the start charge only. Both prices are on this Actor's Apify Store page.

Free Apify plans get 200 results a month from this Actor. The allowance resets on the first of every month (UTC), and a run that has used it up stops with a message saying so instead of writing rows. Paid Apify plans have no limit.

One shape across every platform

This Actor belongs to a set of sixteen on this account that read YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Reddit, Threads, Facebook Ads Library and Google News. They take the same kind of input, write the same kind of row, bill the same way, and stamp every row with "source": "AnyAPI", so a pipeline written against one of them reads all of them without a second parser.
