All notable changes to this Actor are documented here.
- ⏱️ Runs now stop as soon as your Max Items limit is reached. Before, large searches kept reading thousands of extra job pages after the limit, which made runs slow, costly, and easy to cancel.
- 🔁 When HigherEdJobs briefly refuses a search, the Actor now retries from a fresh connection instead of ending with zero rows and a green status.
- 🎯 Employer and location filters are applied before job pages are opened, so filtered searches no longer read thousands of unrelated jobs.
- 💬 When the site withholds a job's full description, the run status says how many jobs came back without one.
- ❌ A run that could not read any jobs because the site kept refusing now ends as failed with a clear message, instead of looking successful with an empty dataset.
- 🔎 Leaving Search Keyword empty now returns the newest jobs instead of an error row.
- 💬 Runs finish with a short status line showing how many rows were saved, or that no jobs matched.
- ⚙️ Renamed the monitoring scope input field to
monitorScope for clearer labeling when configuring scheduled recurring runs. Existing scheduled runs that already pass the previous field name continue to work without any changes.
- 🔔 Added optional persistent new, updated, reappeared, and cautious expired job events.
- 💰 Added source-backed salary minimum, maximum, currency, and period fields.
- 🧭 Added department, employer, location, institution, remote, and category provenance fields.
- 🧾 Added stable source IDs, input correlation, retrieval timestamps, and explicit request errors.
- 🚫 Disabled standby mode. Runs use the normal Apify API, Dataset, Key-Value Store, and scheduling workflow.
- 🧹 Removed generic missing-field fallbacks. Unpublished source values are omitted.
- 💳 Aligned the documented PPE row price with the local Actor pricing configuration.
