Scrapes stock data from Yahoo Finance. Give it a list of ticker symbols and get back price, change, market cap, volume, P/E ratio, and more.
How it works
Feed it stock symbols (AAPL, GOOGL, MSFT, etc.) and pick a mode:
- quote - Scrapes individual stock quote pages. Returns detailed data including P/E ratio, dividend yield, 52-week range, sector, and industry.
- markets - Scrapes the Yahoo Finance markets overview. Returns a table of major stocks with price, change, and market cap.
The actor parses the JSON data that Yahoo embeds in its HTML pages.

Notes
- Yahoo Finance changes its page structure occasionally. If scraping stops working, the JSON extraction logic may need updating.
- Each symbol costs one
data-fetchedevent. - Rate limiting is handled by Crawlee's built-in request queue.
