Why use this scraper

Yandex Market is Russia's largest price-comparison marketplace, the closest equivalent to what Google Shopping or Amazon search results are in the West, and it is the fastest way to check what a product sells for across the Russian/CIS market. The site has no public product-search API for outside developers, so anyone doing price research, competitor tracking or catalog building for that market has to either manually search page by page or build a scraper.

This Actor does the search for you. Give it one or more keywords and it returns every matching product's name, SKU, price, currency, availability, rating and review count, with the product URL and image attached, ready to drop into a spreadsheet or feed into a pricing model. No login, no captcha solving on your side, just a keyword in and structured rows out.

Overview

The Actor queries Yandex Market's search results for each keyword you provide and extracts the product cards shown on the results page: name, SKU, price, currency, in-stock status, rating, rating count, image and the direct product URL. You control how many products come back in total across all keywords with maxItems, up to 100 per run. A single-keyword run with a small maxItems typically finishes in under a minute; runs with several keywords take proportionally longer since each keyword is a separate search pass.

Supported inputs

  • keyword (string) — a single search term, e.g. laptop. This is the simplest way to run the Actor.
  • keywords (array) — several search terms in one run; results are split across them up to the shared maxItems total, useful for comparing multiple product lines in one pass.
  • maxItems (integer, default 30, max 100) — the maximum number of products returned across all keywords combined.

If both keyword and keywords are set, keywords takes priority and keyword is ignored.

Use cases

  • Price monitoring — track how a specific product or product category is priced across Yandex Market sellers over time, catching price drops or spikes.
  • Market entry research — before launching a product in Russia/CIS, see what similar products already sell for, at what rating and review volume, to size the competition.
  • Catalog and feed building — pull structured product data for multiple keywords to seed a comparison site, a price-tracking dashboard or an internal catalog.
  • Competitor benchmarking — compare your own product's price and rating against the top-ranked listings for the same search term on Russia's biggest marketplace.
  • Dropshipping and sourcing research — identify products with strong ratings and review counts as sourcing candidates for a Russian/CIS storefront.

How it works

The Actor submits each keyword as a search query to Yandex Market and reads the structured product data embedded in the search results page for that query, rather than trying to simulate clicks through a browser. Each result is normalized into a flat record with its position in the search results, so you can see exactly how products rank for a given keyword, not just what exists. This approach keeps runs fast and keeps working as long as Yandex Market's search page keeps returning the same underlying product data, which is far more stable than relying on visual page layout.

}

Multiple keywords, comparing product lines:

{
"keywords": ["laptop", "gaming monitor", "mechanical keyboard"],
"maxItems": 60
}

What makes this richer than the competition

zen-studio/yandex-market-scraper-parser (63 users in the last 30 days) covers Yandex Market but is priced and packaged as a general parser without a dedicated rating/review-count field in its standard output, which matters when you are scoring products for sourcing or competition analysis, not just pricing. dami_studio/yandex-market-scraper (14 users in the last 30 days) returns product listings but does not support multiple keywords in a single run, forcing a separate run (and separate cost) per search term.

This Actor returns rating and rating count on every product by default, supports multiple keywords sharing one maxItems budget in a single run, and tags every row with its exact search position, so ranking comparisons across keywords are possible without extra post-processing.

Notes & limitations

  • Results reflect Yandex Market's ranking at the moment of the run; prices and positions change frequently on any marketplace and are not historical.
  • rating and ratingCount are null for products that have not yet accumulated reviews, this is the marketplace's own data, not a scraping gap.
  • The Actor reads Russian-language product titles as published; no translation is applied.
  • Very broad single-word keywords can return a wide mix of categories, narrow the keyword (e.g. "gaming laptop 16GB" instead of "laptop") for a more targeted sample.
  • maxItems caps at 100 per run by design, run the Actor on a schedule for larger, ongoing catalogs rather than one giant single run.

FAQ

Do I need a Yandex account to use this? No, the Actor reads Yandex Market's public search results, no login required on your end.

Can I filter by price range or category directly in the input? Not in this version, filter the returned rows by price after the run, or narrow your keyword to the category you want.

Why did I get fewer products than maxItems? Some keywords simply do not have that many matching products on Yandex Market; the Actor returns everything it found, up to your limit.

Can I run this on a schedule to track price changes? Yes, schedule the Actor (daily or weekly) with the same keyword and compare price and availability across runs to build a price history.

Does sku match what sellers call the product's SKU? sku is the identifier Yandex Market uses internally for the offer, useful for deduplicating the same product across runs even if its price or name text changes slightly.

What happens with keywords that return zero results? That keyword contributes zero rows and the run continues normally for the remaining keywords.

For AI Agents & LLM Apps

This Actor is MCP-compatible and works directly inside AI agent workflows.

Via Apify MCP Server (mcp.apify.com): add this Actor as a tool to any MCP-compatible client (Claude, Cursor, etc.) and call it with a keyword or keyword list. The agent gets back structured product rows it can reason over, compare or summarize directly.

Via API (synchronous, for quick single calls from your own code):

curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/YOUR_USERNAME~yandex-market-search-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=$APIFY_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"keyword": "laptop", "maxItems": 20}'

This call blocks until the run finishes and returns the dataset items directly in the response, ideal for an LLM app or pricing agent that needs the data inline without managing a separate polling step.
