⚡ Quick start

1. Open the Actor.
2. In GitHub accounts, type one or more usernames or profile URLs — e.g. torvalds, vercel, https://github.com/microsoft.
3. Press Start. (Leave everything on default for a ready-made sample of ~100 enriched followers.)

The users or organizations whose followers you want. Enter a username (torvalds) or paste a profile URL (https://github.com/vercel). Add as many as you like.

🔢 Max followers (total) · maxItems

Stop after this many followers in total. Defaults to 100. Set 0 for no limit.

🔢 Max followers per account · maxFollowersPerAccount

Optional cap per account — handy when scraping several accounts at once so one big account doesn't use up your whole budget. 0 = no per-account cap.

✨ Enrich follower profiles · enrichProfiles

On by default. Collects full details for every follower (name, bio, company, location, website, public email, X/Twitter). Turn off for a faster username-only list.

🔑 GitHub token · githubToken (optional)

Leave empty to run token-free. For very large jobs, paste a free GitHub personal access token to run faster and enrich via the API. Your token is stored securely and only used for your run.

Recommended and on by default. Standard datacenter proxies are enough.

Do I need a GitHub token? — No. The Actor runs fully token-free. A token is optional and only speeds up very large jobs.

Do I need to write code or provide IDs? — No. Just type a username or paste a profile URL.

Can I scrape an organization's followers? — Yes. GitHub lets people follow organizations, and this Actor collects those followers too.

Are emails always included? — Only when a user has made their email public on their profile, so expect it on a minority of rows. Website and X/Twitter are more commonly available.

How many followers can I get per account? — Very large accounts are collected up to a high practical limit per account; use the caps to control size and speed.

Will I get duplicates? — No. Followers are deduplicated within each account.
