Multiple Operations used in make.com When Apify is Called upon
Closed
I'm experiencing a significant issue when using this LinkedIn Profile Posts scraper with Make.com (formerly Integromat). When I input approximately 40 links to LinkedIn profiles, the scraper is returning the exact same bundles of information about 40 times.
The problem:
- I input ~40 LinkedIn profile URLs
- Make.com executes multiple identical operations (around 40 times)
- Each operation returns the exact same data bundles
- This is consuming unnecessary operations and wasting money
- I only need one operation to complete successfully
Technical details:
- I'm using the proper module connections in Make: Run Actor → Watch Task Runs → Get Dataset Items
- I've tried reducing the dataset limit to 1 item, but the issue persists
- The duplicated operations show identical data each time
This appears to be an issue with how the actor handles multiple URLs when called via Make.com's integration. I don't believe I'm doing anything wrong on my end, as the setup is standard according to documentation.
Please advise if there's a configuration I'm missing or if this is a known issue with the integration between Make.com and this particular scraper. This is significantly increasing costs due to wasted operations.
Below is an example of Json im inputting:

Hi, could you please share your Actor run configuration? I tried a simple scenario with 5 links, and it returned just one operation that contains data for 5 profiles.

There should be an issue with the input on make.com that runs the actor multiple times. Please check Array aggregators https://community.make.com/t/scraping-multiple-urls-using-apify-web-crawler-in-make-com/73957
