Arbeitsagentur Scraper — German Job Ads (Jobsuche), No Phones

Get job ads from the Jobsuche of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency), Germany's largest job board with about a million ads: title, employer, workplace (town, postcode, federal state, and for companies the street and coordinates), occupation, working time, contract, start date, the pay when the ad states it — as minimum, maximum and period — publication and update dates, the link on arbeitsagentur.de and the employer's own link. With the full ad on (the default) also the complete ad text, whether the employer is a temp agency or a placement agency, the schooling asked for, apprentice pay by year and the job board the ad came from. • 💶 Pay in numbers. When an ad states pay, salaryMin, salaryMax and salaryPeriod hold it: 3,464 of 9,974 Berlin jobs in a live run did (2,689 by the hour, 775 by the year).
• 🔒 No contact persons, no phones. Ads name recruiters with their phone numbers and e-mail addresses; those lines, contact blocks, numbers and addresses are taken out of the ad text. Private households that hire (household help, gardening, childcare) are not named, and their street and coordinates are left out: 59 of the 3,147 jobs in the live run.
• 💸 You pay only for jobs delivered. A link that is not a Jobsuche search, a place the Jobsuche does not know, or a search with no jobs comes back as a free record with the reason.

How to use it

1. Paste Search links from arbeitsagentur.de/jobsuche, one per line — or type Keywords and/or Places. Every keyword is searched in every place; a keyword alone searches all of Germany, a place alone gives all its jobs.
2. Optionally set a Radius, and pick Offer type, Working time, Home office possible, Contract, Published within, Hide temp agencies, Also show placement agencies, an Employer and the Sort order.
3. Set Max jobs per search, and turn off Full job ad and details if the list fields are enough.
4. Press Start, and download the results from the Output tab as JSON, CSV or Excel.

For a daily feed of new jobs, save your input as a task with Published within set to "Today" or "1 day" and schedule it every morning.

Pricing

You are charged per job delivered — see the price on this page. The full ad and details cost nothing extra, only time. Links that are not Jobsuche searches, places the Jobsuche does not know and searches without jobs are free.

FAQ

How many jobs per search? As many as the Jobsuche shows, up to its own limit of 10,000 per search. A live run of all jobs in Berlin (about 47,000) stopped there: 9,974 jobs in 311 seconds without the full ads — the Jobsuche's order shifts a little while it is read, and the 26 jobs it showed twice were delivered once. For more, split the search by place, radius, offer type or working time.

Why are placement agencies left out? The website leaves out the jobs of private placement agencies (Personalvermittlung) unless you ask for them, and so does this tool: tick Also show placement agencies, or paste a link where you turned them on.

Why is employer empty for some jobs? Private households hire through the Jobsuche too — for household help, gardening or childcare — and the employer is then a person. Their name, street and coordinates are personal data, so only the town and postcode are kept. The same goes for an employer named only by a person's name (some sole traders do that); a business name with a person's name in it ("… Friseursalon", "… Landwirtschaft") is kept as published.

Why are contact persons missing? They are personal data. Every job has its url on arbeitsagentur.de (and often an externalUrl); applicants apply there.

Does "Muenchen" work? Yes. The Jobsuche knows places only with their umlauts; when a place is unknown, it is tried once more with ä, ö and ü.

Is this affiliated with the Bundesagentur für Arbeit? No. This is an independent tool that reads the job ads the Bundesagentur für Arbeit publishes in its Jobsuche on arbeitsagentur.de.
