• 💷 Salaries you can sort by. Next to reed's own salary line ("£25,000 - £28,000 per annum", "£13 per hour") every job has salaryMin, salaryMax, salaryPeriod (hour, day, week, month, year) and salaryCurrency. When reed hides the numbers ("Competitive salary", "Salary negotiable") they stay empty.
• 🧹 No paid courses dressed as jobs. Reed lists training courses among the jobs ("Trainee AI Engineer"); a live run with them left in counted 132 in 501 results. They are left out unless you untick Leave out training courses.
• 🔒 No phone numbers, no recruiter names. Companies and agencies are named by their company name only. Reed takes phone numbers and e-mail addresses out of the ads itself; anything it misses is replaced with [phone removed] / [e-mail removed], and sentences that name a recruiter ("please contact Simon at …", "send your CV to Kelly or Steve") are taken out of the ad text.
• 💸 You pay only for jobs delivered. A link that is not a reed search, or a place reed does not know, comes back as a free record with the reason.

Pricing

You are charged per job delivered — see the price on this page. Opening jobs for the full ad costs nothing extra, only time (about 3.5 jobs a second: 565 jobs with their full ads in 151 seconds in a live run). Links that are not reed searches and places reed does not know are free.

FAQ

How many jobs per search? Reed shows at most the first 10,000 jobs of any search. A live run asked for all of London (21,058 jobs on reed) and got 9,998; the same run read 11,782 jobs from three searches in about 6 minutes. For more, split the search — by keyword, by town or by contract type.

Are the filters obeyed? Yes: reed applies them, and the run checks the salary range itself, because reed compares pay as yearly equivalents and lets a few yearly salaries outside the range through. In live runs, 299 of 299 remote software developer jobs were remote, 54 of 54 contract electrician jobs were contracts, and 88 of 88 jobs in a "permanent, from £30,000" search in Glasgow were permanent, none of them paid under £30,000 a year.

Why does the same job show up in two of my searches? Each search gets the jobs reed shows for it, without repeats. Reed shows some nationwide "work from home" ads in many searches — 9 of them came in both "nurse" in Manchester and "warehouse" in Leeds in a live run. Use jobId to drop them if you combine searches.

Why no phone numbers or recruiter names? They are personal data. Every job has its url; applicants apply on reed. Reed's own filter takes phone numbers and e-mail addresses out of the ads. Recruiter names are taken out by rules that know how recruiters write them ("get in touch with Sarah at …", "reach out to Phoebe via …", "connect with me on LinkedIn, just search …", a name above "Tel: +44 (0)"). Mistyped e-mail addresses ("…@example,com") are taken out too. Rules can miss an unusual wording: in five live runs with 3,415 full ads, a recruiter's name or e-mail address got through in 6 ads, among them a candidate's testimonial naming "my own consultant" (each of those wordings is caught now). That is why the full ad is off by default; the short snippet goes through the same rules.
