Search job listings by keyword or company domain and return structured records for recruiting and job-market research. This Actor provides a Google Jobs alternative using public ATS boards and job feeds by default.
What you get
- Company domain mode discovers jobs on supported public ATS boards.
- Keyword mode searches available public feeds, including Arbeitnow, Remotive and Jobicy.
- Export job titles, available employer/location/salary fields, source names and application links.
Quick start
Edit the sample target in Apify Console, or pass an explicit target through the API:
{"queries": ["software engineer remote"],"country": "US","max_jobs_per_query": 5,"include_descriptions": false,"use_paid_upstream": false}
Results are written to the default dataset. Use the overview dataset view to inspect records and export available columns as JSON, CSV or Excel.
Reading the output
Check each row's actual location, source and apply_url. The country field records your requested country. A worldwide remote row can match a country without claiming a local office. Unconfirmed or mismatched locations are omitted. A diagnostic note is not a job listing.
Sources and coverage
Public-feed coverage differs from Google Jobs search results. Country and city constraints are enforced against the source's location text. Unknown or unmatched geography is omitted. A remote listing explicitly available worldwide can satisfy a country constraint, but not a city constraint. A location of just "Remote" does not establish country eligibility. A query containing remote, hybrid or onsite requires supporting work-mode evidence; a mention in a generic company description is insufficient. This conservative filtering can return fewer or no results even when other jobs exist. Employment-type and distance-radius filters require an explicitly enabled paid source; otherwise they are rejected rather than silently ignored. Missing company, salary or date fields remain unavailable. Direct Google Jobs SERP access requires a separately configured paid source and is disabled by default.
The default uses public or platform-native sources with external paid data providers disabled. Apify Actor events and platform usage are separate from external API costs. Unsupported or unavailable fields are reported honestly; this is not a guarantee of complete source coverage.
Pricing
Published standard event rates (before plan discounts):
| Event | USD per event | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
apify-actor-start | $5e-05 | Actor Start |
job-search | $0.005 | Job search |
job-result | $0.001 | Job result |
Startup events, when configured, are separate from result events. Result-event charging follows the Actor's eligibility and useful-output rules; public fallback or diagnostic outputs may be uncharged. The live Pricing tab is authoritative. Set a maximum total charge before starting a run.
API, MCP and workflow integrations
Actor ID: hirepulse/google-jobs-scraper. Run this Actor through Apify API or its official client libraries. Connect it to n8n or Make using the Apify integration, or expose it to AI agents through Apify's MCP server. This Actor does not host its own MCP server. API calls must supply the required target; Console prefill is an editable example, not a hidden API target.
Use cases and data coverage
| Dimension | Coverage |

| Use cases | Recruiting, talent sourcing and public job-market research |
| Target sources | Public ATS boards; Arbeitnow, Remotive and Jobicy |
| Output | Structured JSON records in an Apify dataset |
Store categorization is assigned by Apify. No search position, AI recommendation, completeness or fixed runtime is guaranteed.

Source reliability and query routing
Single-word roles such as engineer are keyword searches. Use a company domain such as stripe.com for ATS discovery; a bare employer name is treated as a keyword. A source block, rate limit or unreadable response is a provider error, not evidence that no jobs exist. The run summary exposes source_error when a lookup could not be checked. This does not enable a paid upstream source.
Keyword feed results require a meaningful search term in the job title, not only in a generic company description. Remote/hybrid modifiers alone do not qualify an unrelated role. Geographic eligibility is limited to what the source explicitly states; job availability and an applicant's eligibility still require checking the original application page.
