Pull the capture history of any web page or whole website from the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, as clean rows you can export to CSV, Excel or JSON.
Uses the Internet Archive's official public CDX and availability APIs. No login, no browser.
Use it for
- SEO and content recovery: list every URL a site ever had (match
domain+ collapseunique-urls) and find deleted pages, old blog posts and lost backlink targets. - Domain due diligence: summary mode gives the first and last capture date, the years with captures and archive age, for expired-domain buying or vendor checks.
- Change tracking: collapse
content-changesshows only captures where the page content changed. - Competitor history: see how a pricing or landing page looked over time (open
archiveUrl).

rawArchiveUrl returns the original archived file without the Wayback toolbar.
Pricing
You pay per row returned. Use maxSnapshotsPerUrl and collapse to keep runs small.
Notes
- The Internet Archive is sometimes slow or rate-limits; the actor waits and retries automatically.
- Very large domains have millions of captures: start with collapse
unique-urlsor a date range. - Pages excluded from the archive by their owners are not returned.

FAQ
How do I find old or deleted pages of a website?
Enter the domain with a domain-wide match. You get every archived URL with its capture dates and Wayback Machine links, including pages that no longer exist.
How do I check how old a domain is?
The first-seen date in the archive shows when the site was first captured, a good proxy for domain age and history.
Is there a Wayback Machine API?
archive.org offers the CDX API, which this Actor uses. You get the results as clean JSON or CSV without writing code, for many URLs at once.
Can I only get working snapshots?
Yes. Turn on onlyStatus200 to skip redirects and error captures.
