What does Autocomplete Keyword Scraper: Google, YouTube, Amazon, Bing do?

In short: Returns deduplicated autocomplete suggestions for each seed keyword from Google, YouTube, Amazon, Bing and DuckDuckGo, each with an engineCount showing how many engines offered it, for $0.001 per unique suggestion plus a $0.00005 start fee. Optional a-z expansion finds many more; Only new since the last run bills no suggestions when none is new. A suggestion is what people type, not search volume.

Use it for keyword research, SEO and content ideas, YouTube topic research and Amazon listing keywords: type a seed phrase, get what each search box completes it to, merged into one list. Each row says which engines offered the suggestion, so you can see which ideas are shared and which only one platform shows. Amazon suggestions are for the US marketplace; Google and YouTube follow the language you set. Every engine is asked from US IP addresses by default, so suggestions are US-localised unless you pick another proxy country.

What you get

Sample output (a real row from a test run, trimmed):

{
"query": "standing desk",
"suggestion": "standing desk converter",
"engines": ["google", "amazon", "bing", "duckduckgo"],
"engineCount": 4,
"bestRank": 2,
"askedFor": "standing desk",
"startsWithSeed": true,
"note": "Autocomplete suggestion, not search volume."
}
FieldMeaning
suggestionThe suggested phrase (the first engine's spelling and case).
queryThe seed phrase it came from.
engines, engineCountWhich engines offered it, and how many.
bestRankBest position (1 = first) in any engine's list for the prompt where it appeared.
askedForWhat was typed into the box: the seed, or the seed plus a letter with a-z expansion.
startsWithSeedFalse for related rewordings.
noteA reminder that this is not search volume.

Free rows (delivered: false) explain themselves with missReason: engine_unavailable (an engine kept refusing after retries; the other engines' results are still delivered) engine_partial (an engine answered only some of the a-z requests, so its share in engines and engineCount may be too low) or no_suggestions (no engine had anything for the phrase). An engine that answers with an empty list is not an error.

How to use it

  1. Enter your seed phrases in the input (one per line).
  2. Choose the engines (Google, YouTube, Amazon, Bing and DuckDuckGo; the first four by default), a language for Google and YouTube, and whether to expand with a-z.
  3. Set Max suggestions per phrase if you want fewer.
  4. Click Start. Results appear in the Overview tab; export to CSV, JSON or Excel, or use the API.
  5. For monitoring: schedule it weekly with Only new since the last run on. Each run returns and bills only suggestions you haven't seen for that input.

How much does it cost?

$0.001 per unique suggestion delivered, so 1,000 suggestions cost $1.00. Engines that fail are listed free, with the reason. There's also a tiny start fee of $0.00005 per run. Apify's free plan includes $5 of monthly credit.

Input

See the Input tab. Choose the engines, a language, and whether to expand each seed with a-z.

Tips

  • Read agreement carefully. With a-z expansion, every engine completes seed a, seed b ... in a similar way, so many suggestions show 4 or 5 engines almost by construction (and when you cap results, the most-agreed suggestions are kept first). Rank and agreement are most meaningful for the plain seed.
  • Not volume. Autocomplete reflects what people tend to type, shaped by each engine's own ranking. It is a source of ideas, not a measure of demand.
  • Cap before you expand. a-z expansion asks 27 times per engine per seed; set Max suggestions per phrase so you pay only for what you want. The cap applies before the "only new" filter, so on a schedule the cap decides which suggestions are ever considered.
  • Scheduling. Run weekly with Only new since the last run to see newly appearing suggestions for your topics.
